POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
I tried a lot, too.
Today, the game crashed my PC a total of 20 times when entering a new zone or TPing to town. Nothing works anymore. I have to kill my PC every time and hard reboot. This is simply unacceptable. |

It seems like it's a common issue for people with an X3D processor. I have 5800x3d and I was playing perfectly until last night.

" SAME HERE, AMD processor with NVIDIA card, tried basically everything, keeps happening, please fix this.... |

I've been having this problem from day one. DAY ONE! December 6th! And so far, nothing is fixed yet??? GGG COME ON!!! WHY IS THIS NOT FIXED YET?
Seems like they are too worried about nerfing streamers builds that they forgot to fix a crashing bug affecting thousands of ppl worldwide? INCOMPETENTS!!! |
|
theres NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT than this error, WHERES THE FIX??, MORE THEN ONE WEEK LIKE THIS, wtf

7800x3d + rx6950xt

" Please stop playing the game. You might lose your PC. |

Please expect this to persist into 2025. The week before Christmas is generally slow at game studios with Christmas vacations starting Friday. I want this shit fixed as much as the next guy as I’m currently just not even playing as to avoid bricking my pc. I’m done with all the work arounds. But with no word from GGG I kind of expect it to just not get fixed. And when it is addressed, considering their radio silence, I’d expect one line like “fixed an issue where crashes can occur during loading zones that require a full pc reset” - this fix will likely fix for a lot of people but not everyone.
I’m pissed about this and tried getting a refund but I was denied from steam. But I have 0 expectations as far as the game studio is concerned about fixing the issue. They’re no better than a blizzard or a bungie, but at least neither of those studios are this incompetent to allow a game breaking, potentially hardware breaking bug persist this long. Real shame |

Disabling multi-threading in my BIOS seems to have worked for me. I haven't noticed any degradation in FPS or performance either (besides random latency spikes every 10 seconds after dying, which I had before the crashes).
Just a workaround for now, but hope this can help someone else. |

Ive fix the crashes by deleting dx12 cache folder in appdata every 10 or so hours of playing the game.
And in the game disabling multithreading every like 3rd time switch of instances/teleporting/(before loading screens) No crashes last 5 days. I know this is temporary FIX or workaround to actually play a game till they fix it but I want to play the game and not break my PC in meantime. all of you that were like me furious on forums about the fix and patch dont get ur hopes high just yet, they need to collect data and fix it and that wont be this month probably and if you want to play a game, try this what Ive told you. Its not a big of a deal to do this 2 things actually if you want to play a game. |
