POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I've stopped playing until this is fixed. This last time I crashed and locked up the system I hard reset my machine and it was almost unusable. It almost borked my fresh install of Windows 11 24H2. The only way I was able to fix it was to reinstall my Nvidia drivers and the machine seemed to go back to normal. One thing I have noticed and I only see that one other person has called it out, it seems to be an issue between Nvidia and 24H2, not one AMD GPU has been listed from what I've seen.

Asus Tuf 4090
MSI X870 Carbon Wifi
Windows 11 24H2

yep me too, i kinda gave up, before i could play 2 or 3 hours now it crashes on startup or loading in and nothing helps
i got 40 hours on steam logged and am in act3 i tried

game runs well in 4k so far and ive fun wish i could continue dying in trial of chaos ;-

After tens of crashes, I've decided to finally revert to Windows 11 23H2 to see if that fixes it for me.

These are my current specs:

4070 Super
i7-8700k
64GB RAM
Windows 11 Pro 23H2

I'll report back in about two days if my issue has been solved, or as soon as I crash again.

Same here, trying a process limiter but if that does not work it is done for me.

Happening to me as well. Been happening from the beginning, but the latest patch it seems to happen much more often.

It's now a tossup whether initially loading into the game is going to crash my whole PC. BES did not work for me nor any of the other solutions.

This needs to be the #1 priority for the tech team, hands down, with all resources devoted to it before addressing any other issues. The game is unplayable in this state and if it's damaging any components in my system, GGG is personally responsible.

Solved by downgrading to 23H2. 3 days without crashing. At least 12+ hours of playtime.

Same problem here. I'm not going to try anything until they fix it. Better to wait a little bit than to damage my hardware.

nice but downgrading cant be the solution, windows only allows downgrading 10 days after release and i wont reinstall windows. (or is there another way?)

i paid for this game and am happy that i managed to get like 40 hours in that alone was worth the price and i wish to continue playing, also hurts if new players buy freeze etc and refund i dont think they are as forgiving as us arpg fans, yes its a beta and there are bound to be issues but once peeps are gone and fed up its hard to get them back first impression is importantt.
