POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

had this on poe1 couple months ago after updating windows to 24h2, went back to 23h2, no more crashes

None of this stuff seems to work for everyone. Go back to 23h2 or w10? solved the problem for some, didnt for others. Disable SMT in bios = still crashing for some people. I turned off a cpu in the task manager affinity and from one patch to the next i can't even load into the game.

I tell u more.. In premiere EA POE2 i run game on newest set like new bios, new drivers, new update win etc etc and after few hours - freez, hard rr.
Now i have older ver win, older driver NVIDIA, still new bios and affinity 2-5core (2min) when i playin and getin worst freez ever becouse even when i have chance to min game and get into task mng to try close process i have HARD freez in WIN (!!!). Freez in game even when i fight with boss or selling stuff.

So yeah... U all do not playin with ur build PC. Just wait for ANY comment from GGG.

Disabling virtualization in the BIOS helped me. Neither poe 1 nor poe 2 freeze anymore.

What helped for me, was posted before:

1. Disable Dynamic Resolution
2. Disable Triple Buffering
3. Disable Dynamic Culling

Before disabling these settings, nearly every teleport since an update from yesterday or the day before my PC crashed.

After disabling these settings, no crashes so far this day!

At the launch of EA I had a lot of crashes, then I went from DX12 to Vulkan what seemed to have fixed everything. For some reason, after a PoE2 update the crashes came back..

Then I tried some solutions without disabling multi-threading, and as I said in my original post, this solution helped!

My test in 3min:
- close opera;
- open POE2;
- open task manager and affinity 2 cores;
- disable DR, TB, DC;
- start the game;
- freez in first load screen;

Dsnt work.

Some here have mentioned how their game crashed after 0.1.0d or before it, but that the inverse is occurring now. Or that the crashes got worse. This is likely the culprit.

Part of the 0.1.0d patch notes:
