I have this issue and nothing really seems to totally fix it(yesterday the game was unplayable for some reason, it seems the problem is getting worse if anything). Disabling CPU Cores 0 and 1 slightly mitigates the issue. Still, I have cpu spikes up to 100% while loading areas. My specs: 9800X3D + 4090 Have the devs formally acknowledge this issue? Maybe cpu overheating is another big problem here. What I do is to deactivate Multithreading in the game options every time I port or step into a new area. Since I´m doing that (3 days) no crashes. It doesnt matter if I disable Cores 0 and 1, or leave them all on, everytime I load into a new area CPU temp go up to 80% and CPU usage goes up to 100%. That cant be healthy to the CPU... Disabling multithreading might work, but its ridiculous. It will leave us stuck with a 30 fps experience. Again, have the devs acknowledge this problem? To fix it for me I Set my renderer to Vulkan hard locked my fps setting to 60 background and foreground. Mode is Windowed Fullscreen Disabled the windows 11 game bar and game mode disabled NVidia overlay No crash or hard lock in over 30 hours.
