Early Access Bug Reports - POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen - Forum

Built a brand new 9800x3d system recently with a fresh win11 install. Everything else stable except this game. 1 out of 5-10 zone transitions hard locks my computer where you have to hold down the power button. I haven't seen a game lock a system that bad in decades. Process lasso helps, but I recommend also setting the game to below priority because it can happen that it locks the cpu before process lasso gets to observe the usage (saw it happen once). Will lower the chance by so much. Also, if you're on direct 11 and see ms spikes and have nvidia boost turned on, try setting it to disabled and see if it helps.
