POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Okay, that’s weird. Is it the same multithreading bug tho? For me it totally fixed the crashes on 5800X3D
I tried to deactive CPU 0 and CPU 1 in task manager and yeah seemed okay cpu usage around %50-60 BUT CPU TEMP around 90-93 Celcius(my cpu temp was generally around 75-80C when playing this game) in molten vault map i got 120-140 fps. However In Ziggurat Encampment i got 70-90 fps but got constant suttering like heavy lagging and my CPU TEMP gets around 97C cpu usage around same.
Like i said when i didnt set affinity thing my CPU usage gets %99 and then game crashes. This method seems okay but CPU TEMPS are going crazy and i dont want to melt my CPU...
All these issues happened after the game patch and windows(KB5048667)patch. I did patches same time so im not sure which one is causing the problem but i uninstalled windows patch and tried but got crash again.
I had the logging screen hard crash issue but i solved the issue with changing to vulkan from dx12.

My Specs:
RTX 4060(mobile)
Ryzen 7 7840HS
32GB DDR5 5600mhz
Windows 11 Home updated(24h2)
I tried disabling SMT in BIOS and it did make a change. I still crashed once softly and one with complete freeze after almost 6 hours. For that there might be the cache folder grew too big. Could someone else please try disabling SMT or Hyperthreading in BIOS and report if it helped.
Mind that after disabling SMT I didn't receive massive hit to perdormance (if I disable it in game I get under 30 fps). Though even with SMT off performance in hubs is a little disappointing (dips under 60).

Yes it is not a fix and more just a workaround and GGG still need to sort things out but at least the game is more playable than not.

Guys, if you are stopping playing because of this shitty bug or are constantly disabling multithreading before loading screens, do yourselves a favour and just set up the BES Limiter. It’s really a matter of 5 minutes and then you are set for playing without any issues until this stuff is fixed. Hadn’t had a crash ever since throttling Poe by -5%.

Here is a link to the tool (site looks kinda sketchy but is legit):

The truth is that I prefer them to take care of the problem. We as users and customers shouldn't be tweaking here and there to play a game. Since is an EA it's our duty to adress all this problems and let them work to fix it and find a solution. If you want to download programs, cripple your hardware and play at 20fps, be my guest, but I assure you that this should not be the case. I really, REEEEEAAAAALLY want to play, I was as hyped as everyone, but as soon I got hit with these risky freezes that can seriously harm your hardware I just stepped back and said: "Ok, not worth, this is not a crash to desktop, this is something else". Again, do whatever you want but if you think about it, what we should do is just stop playing and let them know that we want to play it but we just CAN'T.
Unfortunate-Same issue, brand new PC
4070 Super
Ryzen 7 98003dx

crazy that it is happening in both POE 1 and POE 2, hopefully fix comes soon

I'm playing with BES and capping out at 120fps basically all the time, so "crippling" seems like an over-statement. In the time it took you to write this you could have at least a temporary solution and just play the game.

BES doesn't make a difference neither for me or for a lot of other people. Good that it works for you.

The game is broken and I will not play a game no matter the cost. It's GGG who has to take care of this and fix it, not me. But hey, if it works for you and you're ok with that, good, I guess.

It doesn't work for everybody - it didn't work for me. It was roughly the same as manually splitting off cores, it prevented the crash from locking the system but the crash is still there. In my case some characters simply can't be logged into, it's always a crash. Others can but seem to crash on loading within 1-3 jumps.

5 hours of ultra Cities Skylines 2 and then a few more hours of Rivals today though, no problems whatsoever...
Guys, anyone who got the crashes often, and have Logitech G hub software try to disabling it and try the game?.
