Hard crashing PC locks up

Same here.

NVIDIA driver 566.36

Vulkan, BES does not help.
this must be what is happening to me too with the chipset / windows version, how tragic i had some space to play tonight
Crashes when teleporting keeps getting more frequent after day. Finally couldn´t even login with dx12.
Seems to work better after cleaning shader cache. Also i changed to Vulkan from DX12.

Anyone here managed to revert to 23H2 and have no issues so far?

I need to know as for me, I would have to make clean windows installation (can't roll back anymore) so I need to know if it's 100% the solution.

Some people reported the issue persisting on 23H2. I don't suggest downgrading.

The 2024-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 claims to fix something that sounds a lot like this - an issue where new threads could enter an infinite loop rather than run normally. Downloading and installing now, will report back once I have some time in game to tell if it helped (though I can probably get a quick guess if it stops destroying other audio while loading).

Definitely took a hit to loading times (and they already weren't great for me), but no visual slowdown, no crashes, no stutters in background audio, and CPU staying around 95% when under strain. Looks like this might be a fix.

What system build are you on? I'm on 26100.2454, pretty sure that I have had the 2024-11 update installed for a while and still experience crashes.

I see, ok. I will try to update my SSD firmware, who knows.

I confirm, the PC freezes and I think the problem is in the game. But no one forbids switching to Linux
