For Intel users (specifically 13th and 14th gen users) suffering from this issue, I have the solution for probably a large portion of us. The windows version is completely irrelevant. I learned this in the dumbest way possible. I had a lot of friends begging me to attempt to play marvel rivals with them, upon downloading the game a large notification came up on the launcher that informed 13th and 14th gen users that if they are unable to load the shaders without their game crashing, they should download Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and set the Performance Core Ratio down from 55 to either 53 or 52.
I originally ignored this, attempted to download the shaders, and the game crashed. Afterwards, I attempted one final time and my screen froze up exactly as it did after loading instances in POE 2 maps. I immediately downloaded the Intel tool, changed my performance core ratio to 52, and the game ran as smooth as butter. The next day, I figured I could try POE 2 again and boom. It's running perfectly smooth on max graphics. I have minimized, opened up other applications, and streamed the game without a single crash for the last two days.
I wish I understood more about computers because Path of Exile 2 absolutely melts your cpu whenever you are loading into new areas (albeit for maybe two seconds). Please if you are an Intel users try this and see if it works. You may have to reopen the tool every time you turn on your PC but once it is on, you should have no issues.
I tried PoEUncrasher and ProcessLasso before that, both didn't solve but reduce my issues. I deactivated them to test the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. This finally seems to have worked for me on my older gen 10 10600K (my default was 45 and I set it down to 42) and I've played for 2h straight without a single issue (unthinkable before that).
I'll update my post in case I encounter more freezes / game crashes on loading screens.

lol wtf how did he deserve to not being able to play?
He was warned by the company - it's Early Access. He was warned by the community - it will be bugged as hell. EA / Alpha SUPPOSED to be bugged by the definition. He accepted the risk and chosen to be a tester. And now he's upset. Wow! Some people just don't want to be resposible for their decisions and / or have very short memory.

Just because he finds it annoying doesn't mean he doesn't accept or understand it. Again, you're taking issue over something you have assumed rather than facts you have gained from his post. For some strange reason...
Just leave him and stop defending. He literally made his own choice to suffer. Probably he enjoys the process.
If you don't like to play buggy games, just don't play them, at least don't play unfinished semi-baked ones. That's so easy, isn't it? No annoyance, no problems, no complaints on forums, easy life.

You're on the forums in an area designed for reporting bugs... and yet you're here solely to put down people? Get a life. This game is in early access for a reason... to identify bugs like these and get them solved quickly before full release. A bug that regularly crashes your entire system with potential to brick hardware should be top of the list for attention. No one paid for this game to play early with intention to 'suffer' through basic instability, most of those are kinks worked out in alpha phases. This is a near complete game that is just being polished, big difference.

ASUS Quick Service Center in my Area Mentioned:
My ASUS TUF-F15 is up for scrapping and sell for still available parts.
They offered to fix it for almost 600-700$ USD as an estimate for completely replacing the parts that i had but still recommended just to buy a new one.
What a fun Christmas this Hard Crashing caused.

I have a 9800X3D and (had) a Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080. I was consistently hard crashing, requiring a forced shutdown, until changing over to Vulkan, that worked consistently for a good 35 hours, then started crashing again. Switching between DX and Vulkan didn't fix it.
One crash then killed my GPU. I tested on another system, it's dead. I've not had a game hard crash a system this bad in many years.
I've switch to an EVGA 3080 and played for 2 hours until it again crashed and now I'm reluctant to try again until there's something officially released to fix this.
I understand it's Early Access and I can deal with crashes to desktop but crashing this hard is a big problem.

Does Solo Self-found mode use less resources?
I notice all the top streamers play this game in Hardcore SSF mode (HCSSF).
Is that their secret to avoiding crashes? Just playing solo?
in a way, yes. warping to town with a lot of people requires considerably more processing time and power, especially if a lot of them have flashy MTX on. but each town has often less than 20 people on there at the same time so it should not be much of an issue.

1. He is not a “people”, he is a very specific person (in the singular).
2. He didn't report anything but complained how bad his life playing buggy EA.
3. Yes, this is EA, it's supposed to have tons of bugs. Everyone were warned.
4. This bug is ALREADY on top of the list. YOu're not paying enough attention to the dev's words.
5. This game is FAR from its completion, and GGG told about that. It's missing A LOT of content.
6. If you ignore everything that devs and community told earlier, interviews, forums, the opinion from experienced players, never dealt with EA / alpha testing or wasn't involved in developemnt it's only your issue. You accept the risks, you and only you responsive for that decision.
You've got access to EA, play it or don't play. If the unfinished game is below your expectations it's only your problem. If you found a bug - feel free to report it. But some people just prefer to cry and whine, defending each other, instead of just posting some logs, dumps, dxdiags, configuration, some experience dealing with the different settings or workarounds.
Is it so difficult? It seems yes, it is.

Apparently your system contains components with manufacturing defects. Like PSU or VRMs on your GPU PCB. Especially if you're using devices from the vendors like Gigabyte. They have to refund your board. If user mode appliation causes the physical damage to your hardware like it was in early 90's, it's definitely wrong with your hardware / UEFI.

Bro... Calm down we just want to play without bricking our PCs, GGG has been silent about this issue that should be top priority.

If you want to play polished game, wait till release. Nobody forces you to play EA. It's not job. If the game somehow managed to break your PC, blame your vendor and hardware manufacturers.
