Early Access Bug Reports - Hard crashing PC locks up - Forum

So, After changing (after every startup) the affinity, to NOT use CPU0, as you can see, I am able to use Windows while the game is fully frozen. Same for me... when it comes to issue this serious they should shut it down. Potential for hardware damage and data loss extremely high. Please if you are an Intel users try this and see if it works. You may have to reopen the tool every time you turn on your PC but once it is on, you should have no issues. This very much worked for me, thanks! I downloaded POE2, it would crash to desktop every time I loaded into a new zone. Downloaded Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and set the Performance Core Ratio down from 55 to 52, been playing 2 days now without even a hiccup. 13900k/4070ti setup, good cooling, with idle temps 28, in game 42-55 range. Don't really get it, I play poe1, last epoch, d4, CoD, anything really, with no issues, but poe2 required me to do this, and now it works great.
