Hard crashing PC locks up

haviing the same issues, pc is constantly freezing and having to hard reset via button too restart pc, not good.

Same issue here, pc freezes up requiring a power button reset every few zones that i start to load into.

W11 24h2
7800x3d, 4080 Super, latest drivers

Game crashes on second trial and randomly ingame. Constant "Cannot load into instances" while loading into any instance, specially into cities.
AMD 7 5700X
3070 Ti
32 Gb

Same issue with the CPU utilization spiking to 100% when loading town and hard locking.


W11 24H2 there are alot of changes to the task scheduler.

It would make sense the multithreading in POE/POE2 might have issues with the updated 24h2 model. Which when turned off would not no longer show the issue.

and set the POE process to -5% or -10% target. That so far gave me no freezes at all.

Lasso only remove cores from the process, which can help not your entire PC to freeze, but the game still will freeze.

Going to give that a try. Set it to -10%.

Were you lucky with the temporary solution using BES cpu limiter? For me it works so far, but I would love GGG to hotfix this.

Alright, after about an hour and thirty minutes or so it ended up freezing my computer again. I think I will take a break from the game now honestly, I'd rather not break my computer by force resetting it so much lately.

Also running into this issue.

Win 11 24H2 + Ryzen 7 9800X3D + 4070 Ti + 32GB RAM
Random freezes and crashes, sometimes the game audio tells me the game is still running (it responds to commands), but the image is frozen until I Alt+F4.
