The stickied post has not been updated since Dec7. That's more than TEN days ago. I work in the dev field and I handle several servers for clients, this level of silence is not acceptable for any tech business. It may be just a game, but it's still a business and people are spending money on it not just for EA but also on MTX. You are the one that needs to grow up and grow out of the "this is just a game" mindset. This is a business entity, period.

It there any script for auto-disable multithreading right before portal and enable it after? I saw only core 1\0 script.

I uploaded the binary to VirusTotal and it flagged it with two trojan signatures. Almost certain these are false positives, but to be on the safe side I cloned your project, verified the code, and build a new executable in VS 2022 which works fine.

Ok, I can't login main char beacause of this. Happened to me occasionally during campaign (like 5 times). Before yesterday I logged off near map device (in ziggurat refuge yea?) and I can't log in. I disabled multithreading, got to join, enabled it (because my fps would be 30 otherwise), forgot it to disable on map end and again got that freeze. I am out.. going to dual install win10.. DxDiag sent.

The silence is deafening. Honestly don't know how to interpret in any way besides they either don't know how to fix it/realized it is much worse than they initially thought, legal and 3rd parties are now involved and they have to carefully craft any communication.

Okay, let's grow up. It's not wasting your time to update millions of paying customers. It is, in fact, a bare minimum expectation, all over this industry. It takes at most five minutes, and even if your response is "we're still looking but we don't know", it's better than leaving your community to get led around by the nose by idiots telling people to unnecessarily screw with bios configs or reformatting to older versions of their OS, when it probably isn't or shouldn't be necessary.

It also doesn't create fertile ground for sociopaths to walk in and tell people it's all their problem and no fix is coming.

I'm having the same problem since my windows updated to 24H2!!
Never had a crash prior but once i updated to said update i started hard crashing where i can't do anything anymore and have to reset my entire pc. Always happens when loading into another zone. After that i hard crash multiple times trying to log back in untill i'm lucky and don't hard crash anymore.

Not gonna keep doing this though. This can't be healthy for my pc. Fix this please!!!

Disable multi threading in the options menu every time you go into a portal or loading screen, then turn it back on when you load.

Keep in mind the game can still occasionally crash but at least it won't hard freeze your pc. At this point idk if the game crashes I just don't want my pc to freeze.

9800x3d 4070 ti super 24h w11

Still crashing with the launch option recomended by devs days ago.

I hope they solve this bc I already suffered more than a dozen freezes and I do not want to keep suffering them, so I play way less.
