I think it is time for us to not contain ourselves in these 2 threads and spill over to [POE 2] Bugs thread. Maybe when they see the added 400 pages there they will start to care.

They did not care after 200, what makes you think they will after 400?

Disabling hardware gpu scheduling in windows graphics settings solves the problem

Since i changed this on my PC i can play without any crashes.

I tried all the solutions people posted and this was the only one that worked

Mine was off since forever. It doesn't stop the crash from happening.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.
Fixed 12 Client Crashes.
Fixed 3 Instance Crashes.

Anyone tried after the patch??
After this patch its worse than ever for me.

I used to be able to play 9 out of 10 times if I deleted cache folders (not sure if this is necessary) and use process lasso to disable 2 cores and restrict the CPU by 2%. Now, however, I spent 90 minutes trying to play, and crashed/froze about 15 times. I was only able to get into the game twice, and would then crash on subsequent load screens. I tried DX12 and Vulkan.
I have been disabling multithreading every time I have to transition scene and that has allowed me to avoid the freezes. I just tested the patch and nope, still freezing when multithreading is enabled. It is happening with more frequency than ever before. I tried entering the same map twice and both times I froze instantly.

People still reporting crashes in the other thread. Sad

Because instead of squishing ourselves into 1 thread, we would be on the general thread and on the forum. If everyone who posted here made another post there and a separate thread we might get more attention.

I don't know if this is a clue, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced it. A couple of times when I've had this crash, on the next boot of POE2, my video settings have reverted from Windowed Fullscreen back to Fullscreen.

Normally I'm playing POE2 on one monitor and still have my desktop open on the other so I can easily use my browser when I need to. Is there something about Windowed Fullscreen that might be related to the crashing?
I'm curious how everyone else's crashes have been. It seems my PC has stopped locking up but every few maps, shortly after entering the map the game will just go straight to desktop. I have been monitoring my cpu and gpu and both of them are remaining at a very stable temperature alongside their usage. My only assumption is that it is related to shaders. The crashes definitely happen significantly less for me when using Vulkan but that still doesn't prevent them entirely.

I could be superstitious but it seems that upon entering a map, if I sit in front of the portal and don't touch anything that it seems to stop the game from crashing more often than not. It almost feels like I'm loading too quickly into the map.
