Hard crashing PC locks up

I said the same thing for the past 30 pages no AMD gpu users. It’s all 30, 40 series gpus. I am here on this thread from the beginning no AMD gpu users.

So - update as to my situation at least into what's been going on.

Well, after one user in here posted Shroud's twitch clip, I tried doing what he said to do between changing zones or instances;

Turning off multithreading in the options and turning it back on every single time.

Ironically, this has worked for me. I went all weekend after my last post without a single crash whatsoever.

I don't know if this helps others moving forward, but at least it's something that I've seen that works well. IE - It's the only option i've attempted thus far out of the 50 different ones that legitimately worked for me.
I would really like to play this game but right now it's too risky to play it. I only have 1 computer and don't have enough money for a new one.

My 3090 got way hotter than any other game ever makes it including Indy/Stalker 2/Cyberpunk... basically way more demanding games. So there's something not right in either the NVIDIA drivers, or with how PoE2 is working with them.

PoE 2 is causing your GPU to spike and then either lock up or hit a power/temp cap.

yea, that could help but this can´t be the solution for this.

we paying for a game which we can assume will work and not destroy my entire pc.

there is no communication since DAYS. Nothing. Thats unacceptable 4 me. Thats nasty and i didn´t expect this situation in any other game the last 10 years

Oh I agree entirely. GGG should not be silent on this matter that is affecting so many people. It's really bad PR and communication. Regardless of the situation. Yet other matters are being taking care of in priority that shouldn't be.

I hate Ubisoft but at least they had balls to say that they have a problem with 24h2 in their games. They communicated with their customers acknowledged the problem and fixed the issue a month ago.
