If you can, add what you put the node(s) of +5 in please. (For each node give or take, what we'd want stat wise, the drill.) Doing hardcore with this build, got the unique infi mag crossbow that slows your reload down. Really just using fragment rounds here. Any good advice or help is appreciated.

" I'm updating as we speak. I respec the 2nd ascendancy from +1 to skill gems into Adaptive Capabilities to help with gem attributes problem (didn't know that it would be a problem xD). Anyway, so now all my +5 attributes are strength (allocate just enough dex to equip your crossbow). For Hardcore, I gotta say good luck to you, have to perfect you bossing mechanics, and otherwise mapping is relatively safe on this build, easy front-to-back shooting with Glacial Bolt. Unique weapon is fine, but remember we're scaling Physical damage, so you need to get a rare weapon/weapons with high physical damage and that's all that matter. |

Ok, have a couple questions.
My clearing is fine, with glacial-fragmentation I can melt the swarms somewhat, it works. My problem rn is bossing, I'm doing them but it's taking a while, my single target damage seems to be mediocre at best, could be the weapon but I think it's fine for my level (Act 2). What is the bossing skill? High speed? Does close to no damage, and I'm mostly spamming fragmentation, doesn't work that well. My dmg currently comes from blowing up the frozen enemies with fragmentation and it does wonders with swarms, but single target is lacking. Am I missing something? " Single target rotation should be: 1. Freeze boss 2. Fragmentation shatters, spam til armour break 3. High velocity consume armour break 4. Back to step 2, spam for about 10 seconds 5. Back to step 1 (due to Diminishing return you can't repeatly freeze boss) Besides that, Act 2 is rough for all classes, all builds. With better weapon, this build should pick back up by Act 3. Go slow, it's a game of attrition. By Act 4, I've already clear bosses in 30 seconds - 1 minute, and it took me less than 2 minutes to clear Act 6 final boss (included intermission) |

What boss rotation are you using?
The Glacier Bolt shot seems to do very little to the boss. I go through all my mana using it and it pretty much does nothing. Scatter shot without the shatter, is just semi-ok High-Velocity without armor break is only as strong as your basic attack shot, so spamming this isnt good. ----- edit ---- Ooops, missed the post right above mine. " Ah I see, depends on the boss, some with small hitbox or are levitating is harder to freeze. You have to setup the wall, and shatter it in their faces, which kinda clunky. So at that point, you can just spam Fragmentation tbh. |
