No ladders in path of exile 2 early access?
This is something thats kindof shocking to me. I thought ladders were something we took as granted in path of exile and was tied to diablo-like games?
I would like to know the numbers if someone made poll about ladders. Are they actively trying to move people out of playing hardcore? Hardcore without ladder is really weird. Last bumped on Nov 30, 2024, 2:51:02 PM

"Hardcore" when people leave the game to avoid death is also weird...so who actually cares?
Ladders will return though... |

" It's not as weird when the game is designed around that. Now with PoE2 being different, in terms of being able to logout and also design wise, I'm really curious about HC. It might feel pretty good or it could be horrible, we'll see. In terms of ladders, I assume they will come eventually. Probably not a priority right now. Why do you want it in closed beta (because thats what it is)? Even full wipes are not out of the question in EA, constant balance changes, tons of bugs etc. It would be stupid to implement them. Its not headstart, its early access.

" Still weird. And it's also weird that the game is designed around it. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" It's weird that the game is designed around SC, if you ask me |

" a) there are no more diablo-like games. All ARPGs are POE-like now, except for Diablo IV. D4 Bad :) b) early access isn't full release -- I'm sure PoE2 will have ladders again once development is done. Stay sane, exiles!

"There will be a ladder in EA, 100%. To be clear, the existence of a ladder does not imply there will be a race or a reward associated with your positionon the ladder. |

" Well, in my head, "weird" means strange or odd. And to be quite frank, I can't think of another game in the history of games that was/is being designed around logging out during combat to escape. What I can think of, is a million games being designed around SC. So I think "weird" is a pretty objectively fair way of describing a game designed around logging out. I never said it was bad or stupid, but it's definitely weird. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
