(с)Yoda can you explain in general the decision to merge the databases of 2 different games into one. in terms of security, differentiation and fault tolerance. as well as the impact of poe2 on poe1. am i right in understanding that any problem in the database and technical work takes BOTH games? | |

the standard we expect from AAA game studios now is to release a game so completely broken it fails to be even playable for large parts of the player base and is so feature incomplete you decide to check back in 6 months to see if theyve unfked it yet.
you had to roll back a patch and it cost the game a few hours downtime. honestly its nothing rly in terms of the players having to deal with issues, i wouldnt worry about it. |
