Changes to Path of Exile's Account System
So poe 2 is cross platform, console will play with pc? Lets go!?!

" It's Sony. SMITE DID NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM. Smite has had cross play for years now but it still has no cross progression with PlayStation yet it has cross progression between PC and Xbox. |
|
" The game will almost certainly show the base item skin, yes. This is necessary because of Sony, not because of Grinding Gear. Sony is infamous for hating all forms of crossplay and inter-platform compatibility. They want to lock you permanently into playing exclusively on PlayStation, and letting you use purchases from elsewhere runs counter to their (admittedly idiotic) goal. Grinding Gear tried to negotiate around this, but clearly failed. They're doing the best they can. They still managed to secure co-op crossplay and criss progression, which is honestly extremely good by "get shog past Sony" standards. That will have to be enough
" You should be able to, yes!
Amazing news, I really wanted to have the stuff I got on PC on my Xbox as well!

So how can I actually link 2 accounts? If i try to link the other account (one should be Steam and the other epic) I just remove the other one unlinking it. If I try to add this one to the other it's the same but viceversa (this one got unliked ) but they don't merge....
Am I doing something wrong?
I would also like to know how to link my old PoE Client account with the newer Steam one.
Hateful post.

simply embarrassing and ridiculous.
GGG is doing away with itself for good.
remember the words
POE 2 will have no influence on POE 1. no season and 4 hours downtime xddddddddddddddd
I didn't read through all the comments here, but is this saying then that POE 2 will not have cross MTX with other platforms when purchased on PS5? Or is this CURRENT POE accounts that have purchases going forward into POE 2? Like if I'm starting new on POE 2, on PC and PS5, my new, POE2 mtx will not be transferrable?
It's wild that Destiny 2, Diablo 4, The First Descendant... Just a few games in a similar space as Path of Exile can successfully have cross progression in that manner. Not shilling, and I understand some other games have faced this in the past, but genuinely curious why this isn't affecting other titles in the more modern space. |
