I am posting again, the game works, I have 30+ hrs played last week, IT IS ANNOYING but... you just need to keep trying to log in to game, turn off and on the game and on and on until it works, no clue what causes it but if you just try to do that - eventually it logs in and works fine for me, didn't have a single crash after logging.

come on, if you have to restat the game 30 times before you log in, you can't say that game works..

Same issue. Very random and hit or miss if the login works. If the screen after character PLAY fully renders then it works, but 90% of the time it has partial characters render then kicks out to can not connect.

Still have the same problem, but the following process worked for me the last days to reliably log on:
1. Start PoE, and just wait 2-3mins on the logon screen. I don't try to log into my account at all. This will result in "Unable to connect" if you try to connect at some point, so after the wait I just close the client. 2. Restart the client again, I can now log into my character without problem. Perhaps this works for others as well, at least it's a reliable work-around for me. As I gave up on hoping that GGG would even acknowledge this problem. |

this is been going on for 7 days now, since the kalguur launch. it pretty much trashed it for mac users. i havent been able to play at all. ive posted continuously and been following this up. they have just acknowledged the problem officially yesterday but there is not a fix for this as of yet. any workaround its just luck in my opinion. nothing is working for me, no matter the times or things i try i just cannot go past the char section.

Same issue for me, reocurring since league launch. M3 Pro Max via Steam. Super disappointing that despite multiple threads there's been minimal communication here and a week since launch.

same issue. M2 Max, Steam client. Once I saw I was getting walled out with authentication errors, I re-installed the game, launched the game, and was then able to login, start a new character, and play.
I closed the game after a few hours and came back the next day, got walled out with authentication errors again, although this time upon launch, I can "login" to the character select screen, but then after I hit "Play", it loads, then boots me back to the login screen with "Failed to connect to instance". Now I can't play at all, even after subsequent re-installs. |
