Holy shit this livestream discussion around trade is an absolute 180! I'm truly shocked. I'm glad Mark has put his foot down to some actual reality that players are experiencing.

Also the Asynchronous trade for items in POE2 is huge news. An AH is coming folks.

Sure you don't need to trade if you're happy grubbing around around in low tier pits and the rest of the content that is childs play difficulty level, if you want to push your character then trading is essential especially if you play an off meta build. Also have fun doing hours of the whisper tedium just to reset a few failed masterworks when you could just sell a mediocre item for more gold instead.
