Following steamcharts: This league reached the lowest amount of players since at least 5 years and is about to make it for the lowest since 7-8 years in few days ( Blight & Essence levels ). Thus since i don't see the last days on the website it could be already the case. It's a free fall.

There's one difference: I would bet there are much more bots than 7-8 years ago.

Funny thing, I was testing D4 in game pass, I was doing level 70 dungeon (to unlock final difficulty) with my 55lvl necromancer - I entered boss room and alt tabbed because I wanted to check email. I ended up doing other stuff forgetting about D4 and that entering a boss room starts the fight. When I got back to the game, boss was already dead, my minions killed it without me doing a single thing.

(Just chiming in because I reckon you haven't bought a single mtx for DIV, because the game is gorgeous enough as is [and lootable cosmetics are worth so much more than anything you can jut buy] whereas I bought pretty much every PoE one for years. Until it literally became impossible for even the biggest whale to do that without putting in *way too much money* on top of every supporter pack's GGGold yield. Ludicrous.)

Had no idea this was a DIV thread. Kinda funny, really. Can't spit without hitting one around off-topic, but I figured people respected 'general discussion about Path of Exile' a bit more. Ha. Fool that I am.

Oh, and that whole 'DIV costs 70 dollars so you should never buy any mtxes for it' argument is fair until you consider how many mtxes you need to buy for PoE to make any one character look about a third as good as a DIV one. And 'a third' is pretty damn generous; I feel pretty bad for the concept artists of PoE because god damn do they do amazing work that so often just isn't done justice by the game's graphics. (PoE2 will certainly rectify this, but let's zoom in on that bridge when GGG get to it.)

And sure, you can argue that graphics aren't everything, but the above argument, a tried and true resort for the terminally exiled, is *literally* about graphics.

And then there are stash tabs, which are absolutely essential to bring PoE out of a de facto 'try before you buy' mode.

Both have free content updates, so that's sort of a moot point too. (And I expect the paid expansion to DIV will do a *lot* more than any one free content update, but again, I can always be wrong there. We'll see.)

There are plenty of angles of attack an Exile can take when it comes to DIV and be on fairly solid ground, but overpriced cosmetics ain't one of them. Both games have those now, well past the theoretical or actual purchase price.

I will NEVER buy an mtx for DIV; it looks just fine as is, with some pretty solid fashion options (unless you want to be a Male Sorc who isn't Wish(tm) Gale).

Somehow I've always had enough platinum to unlock the season pass so that's cool too. And when I don't, I will buy it for any season I plan to play, because I like what it gives and consider it good value. You don't have to; you're not me. I can't be wrong when I say 'It's good value to me', and you're just gonna have to deal with that.

But we're Exiles. 'Dealing with that' has to be quite high up in our skillset by now.
