" What are YOU talking about? Fortunately there is a record of what was done to grave crafting in this handy post from Mark. Enjoy if you were not aware. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3501124 "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" I think it's an excess of self-confidence to release a league like this, like drug dealers who knows their junkies will come back, or at least most of them, so they can keep increasing the prices, even if things are becoming ridiculous. There is probably a technical marketing term when such a situation is reached. |

On the point of melee still being bad, they know.. they have said so plenty of times in interviews. Dont get your hopes up for PoE1 melee to change much until PoE2 is out. They‘re looking to fix it there, and then maybe they can pass it down to PoE1.
And sure, Graveyard crafting was changed after launch. Big deal. First time this happened? Only if you ignore Bestiary, Harvest, Synthesis, Scourge, Archnemesis, Kalandra and many more that had significant changes happen post launch. Players are so quick to shout L when really it‘s a W that they react and make changes. Clearly they are listening to the community. Bad faith actors will just never be happy The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" Oh boy, they STREAMLINED it by lil a bit, not revamped it. Instead of giving tiers to mod type, they made them +tier for all mods and manually picking base. Check link you included, changes were mostly to tiers, method remained unchanged, lol I did play the league, so I DO KNOW :D Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed" I'm disabled, I have rare case of semperduravera, so I can write things that may look rude, but it is because of disability - I'm forced to tell truth using words you may not like. " Nah, GGG BUFFED the hell out of grave crafting to TRY salvage their league. I consider getting triple fractures a massive buff. Has it ever been easier to get 6 T1s on a item? Grave-Crafting: We are increasing the chances of many of the rarer crafts like Fractured Modifiers and Mirrored outcomes significantly. 8 mod maps are the new alch and go. " Statement was made that new necropolis crafting was complex and included even more rng than before - and I don't agree with this, because necropolis since the beginning wasn't complex at all and was more deterministic than other methods we have. Can you elaborate how this made necropolic crafting work any different between early version and current? It didn't, it just made it stronger, thats it :) Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed" I'm disabled, I have rare case of semperduravera, so I can write things that may look rude, but it is because of disability - I'm forced to tell truth using words you may not like. The whole discussion about Necropolis is hilarious, because we actually played the league while Darth is stating 2nd hand knowledge asking „did you know this?!“
Like yea, we‘re playing the video game. Surprise! The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" That's not entirely true. The big change that made Necro crafting WAY better was the ability to choose the base item type. Before that, it was basically gambling in a lot of cases. U wanted to craft a certain ring, amulet or weapon that didn't have a base item corpse? Good luck with that! Even armour crafts were pretty bad, because u could only choose the base defence, but not the actual base item... so it could be pretty terrible. But still, Necro is just one of many many mechanics that needed a week2 patch to be good. Don't people remember Heist? How did that mechanic launch and end up now? I'd rather have a week2 or 3 patch than something like Scourge that just withered away with a pretty terrible crafting mechanic. |

" It was a change for sure, you could just pick str/dex/int base before, but that show much rng was involved (so not much). Tho it didn't change how necropolis crafting worked, just made it stronger. Point is - necropolis crafting core method didn't involve more rng than anything we had before and wasn't (and still isn't) complex. " Yeah, I don't get this argument at all. PoE was always like that - some content was meant only for the most hardcore players, and T17 is clearly one of such content types. I just can't see it as something horrible when there are tons of other content that pretty much anyone can do and have lots of fun. I'm doing poorly rolled T16 with some scarabs on a 3 div + HH budget and having an absolute blast. |
