Insane Latency Spikes and Game Crashes since 3.23

EU Amsterdam, some maps yesterday were normal, but some were lagging either in spikes or constantly; lagging would persist through portals, but change once I opened a new map

yeah im thinking of skipping this league honestly

Its literally unplayable in SG/Japan realm, it was fine for many leagues and suddenly its back to lag spikes every 2 seconds again like its 2021.

It's been like a week or so since launch and this shitzel has yet to be solved? What are the devs doing actually?

saw maybe a solution in other Thread that helped me, since i have done that i got not a single lag spike

3. Clear your client's config files.
It is possible some non-default setting is causing your problem. Removing the client config files will restore default settings. The config files are located in the below locations:

PC (all types): %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile
macOS (beta): ~/Library/Caches/com.GGG.PathOfExile/

The easiest option is to move the entire folder to a backup location to test this solution. Moving the folder will also clear the client's cached data (see above).


I also cleared the cache folder in "%AppData%\Path of Exile" however that change alone did not fix the issue, but may be worth doing as well

**Note that this will reset all keybinds and other settings, which is a pain but better than crashing. Hope this works for you guys too

It's the servers or nodes before them and absolutely nothing you can do on your end will change anything.

These issues always start at prime time so literally the only solution is not to play then sucks if you can't play any other time.

GGG NEEDS TO SHOW US THEY CARE, BECAUSE SO FAR THERE WAS ONLY SILENCE!!!

From start of the league i get constant latency spikes from servers... Meanwhile my 700/100 with 15 ms is fine but somehow getting regular 0-300 ms and every like 1 min 2000-3000 ms... So annoying

Guys, please fix this. Your game is unplayable.
