Ethereal Knives projectiles not returning

Still broken post 3.23.0b. Range is fixed, returning projectiles / Nimis is not.
I confirmed as well - projectiles are still not returning, neither with Return Proj support gem, nor with Nimis.
at this point it almost feels intended :(
Yeah, it's probably intended. This shit really sucks. SO much for buying a supporter pack this league KEK
This is very likely NOT intended as projectiles return ONLY when hitting walls. Definitely looks like a bug to me ...

You guys know that EK is a "dissipaiting projectile" spell?

The projectile has a "lifetime", and if it runs out of it, it dissapears. So ofcourse they only return, if they are hitting terreain, or an enemy(that they dont pierce) and still have "lifetime" left. And they only return with their remaining "lifetime". I just tested EK myself, there is no bug, it just works as intended.

Cant test it with EK variants, but normal EK works Bugfree.

This is btw also true for Freezing pulse. Becasue that one also has a dissipaiting projectile.

This is not how the skill behaved before 3.23
There is nothing stating that that's how it should behave right now
Therefore, it's by definition a bug until stated intended by GGG

You maybe did not noticed it before, becasue prior to this patch, EK recived projectiles speed via level up, and via quality. They scrached both of that, heavily nerving EK.

Patch notes:
Spoiler
It also no longer has 0-19% increased Projectile Speed, a base duration of 6.00 seconds, or the Duration tag.
Quality now causes the skill to Fire +0-2 Projectiles, instead of providing 0-20% increased Projectile Speed.

Projectile speed: The projectiles move at an average speed of close to 120 units/s for roughly 0.25 seconds, putting their effective range at somewhere around 30ish units. Then inherently have a variation of +/−40% base speed, but the average will be around 30. Modifiers to projectile speed will increase the average distance that Ethereal Knives projectiles travel before they fade, effectively increasing the maximum range of the spell.


Thats a dissipaiting projectile.

Let me add the literally next line from the wiki:

Return: Unlike other projectiles with a limited duration, Returning Projectiles Support will cause Ethereal Knives projectiles to return at the end of their duration. Each projectile will return at the same speed it started travelling at.


Ergo, it is a bug.
