Its time for PoE devs to adress performance problems in End-game farming scenarios

It's been like this since the 3.21.2 Patch. I've posted multiple times and have given up mentioning it. I just don't play 100% deli anymore. I mean I barely play anymore as it is and haven't since 3.21.2 patch but that's mostly for other reasons.

Here's my last post about it. You can see my gear in the screen shots. 4090, 7800X3d and I previously used a 7900X. Nothing makes my CPU run hotter other than benchmarking software.

It makes sense for GGG to not address it publicly as it will look bad. "even the best PC you can buy in 2023 can't handle this 12 year old game!

I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

Its not normal for a low end card and cpu to perform exactly the same as the newest and greatest tech we have today.

1080 and 7700k are low end? Really? They are not low-end, they are outdated high-end.

Yes they are, are you new to hardware stuff ?

true. and I knew a lot of games that had beautiful graphics with 1080 Ti.
but here I have very ugly graphics 0-10 even with reduced effects?

So there is a lot going wrong here.

PoE is by no means ugly. It's a 10 year old game, and from what we know of PoE2 there's gonna be a huge graphical update. It looks quite beautiful, really.

The difference between PoE and a game like Skyrim or whatever else you want to compare is the sheer amount of stuff that happens from moment to moment. That's why the GPU is secondary. Path of Exile is a CPU-driven game.

Negative much?
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Whole game is laggy and has random FPS drop, not to mention random crashes etc.

Beta since 2012.
POE is not a 10 year old game.

The POE 32 bit , using Direct X 9 is long dead.

You can argue the reasoning on force people to upgrade hardware due to the current POE 1 is using some of the POE 2 code anyway.

the same with their related project Warframe.
Only there you have first-class fps, very good netcode solutions and beautiful graphics with a lot of content.
and they even completely reworked textures and maps.

If you don't want to do anything, you'll always find plenty of excuses.
Warframe is another thing

It run well with my old rig 4440 and NV 650

It is ugly and rubbish even on the updated graphic map for my Intel 10 gen plus NV 4060

wow that sound so easy and simple and not costly at all. just amazing.

guys GGG is small indie company, fixing performance is not in the budget xD
