Thats the thing - same explanation or similar one can be used by that account owner. GGG need a solid proof , and I know for sure reporting sus accounts can help.

Dear GGG. If we stop talking about problems with the game, problems magically won't disappear.

Those who argue against auction house (AH) in poe because "bots instant ruin bots", why do you assume said AH would have to be so badly designed?

1) Buying items should not be done via simple button click, there are a number of working human user verification technologies on the market, and I don't mean google captcha. GGG can integrate one of these into poe client.

2) Every seller should have AH ignore list, either same as in-game ignore list or separate one. A reputable "bot account list" 3rd party service may arise from community, similar to how we have 3rd party item filters now.

3) When listing an item, seller should have an option to require his confirmation later before closing the deal. Meaning seller visits his AH later, sees buying request, and can confirm, decline, or decline & ignore that buyer. It could be used for important items, to make you won't sell it underpriced. While listings without seller confirmation should be used for mass market deals when seller can be sure his price is adequate.

4) When claiming part of the deal on seller side, display how many time it took to close this deal, up to fraction of seconds if necessary. It helps building up market knowledge

5) Display a number of views listed item has on seller side.

When talking videogames, there are very few problems that cannot be solved at all. So far it seems people claiming otherwise just want any excuse to repel and put down those who aren't satisfied with how GGG operates.

Terrible idea - if it's easy to verify you are human then it's also easy for bots, if it's hard then you just frustrate and piss off legit users.

Even worse idea than #1, how does it stop price fixing or trolling if there's no obligation to sell at the listed price?

Doesn't satisfactorily solve any problems, introduces a whole load more. The current system while not perfect is better than most of the "solutions" people keep touting.
