Haven't PoE 2 devteam learned from d4 devs?
List of removed effects (nerfs):
* Crafting bench * Statincreases from charges and harder to generate ( " If you can get enough attackspeed, trololol huehuehue " ) * Movementspeed * Flasks, including quicksilver * HP-regen * MF (Will be in the game for currency, aka, nerf) * Undecided on div-cards, but HH will still be in the game, so I guess it'll be a 1 in 5 million hour drop chance? * "You won't be able to craft maps, hueheuheueu" , really funny, reflect back * Portals (TL:DR - devteam think you should git gud and "learn from your mistakes", "improve your gameplay"...) * Removed lab (Honestly, this is the one change I like, imagine dodge-rolling through lab...) Welcome to scuffed ruthless! 8 years of devtime for this? D4 dev-team said in their latest stream that nerfs should come with accompaning buffs and be more clear on their longterm goal of the game. Can someone list a single buff that has been introduced? Last bumped on Nov 12, 2023, 6:13:39 PM

Totally agree, poe2 looks incredibly bad vs poe1. The new league hypes me more than the whole poe2 thing, hows that possible? The obviously overpaid streamers not critisising anything and just hyping this trahs is not making it better.
The gold thing hints at the whole ruthless idea. I mean they had a ruthless with gold thing going on a couple of months. So probably poe2 will be a ruthless mode with gold. Pretty disappointing and sad. "The Hate continued exactly as before, except that the target had been changed." ~ Orwell, 1984

I feel very conflicted atm, I was really hyped when they showed what you dan do with skills and skill tree, new classes look varied, but man I do no want to play a game with a 5 minute bossfight every zone, I really don't.
I'm trying to get my hopes up for teh game in general but those bosses they won't turn back of course, feels like that 50% of the dev time went into that. I don't mind a slower game, but I don't want bullet spunges everywhere. | |
While I'm sure I'm in a smaller group, all of those changes sound like good moves for me. As it stands, move speed on boots invalidates every boot without it, the fact that the bonus exists removes more items from the game than it adds and pushes the 'zoom' gameplay type above all others. You can't tweek it down, as no matter how small the number is, it warps the game around it. So the only thing you can do is remove it and built game speed around a central point, or shurg and just accept the harm it does. Obviously PoE1 has taken the latter, the smart choice is purely to launch without it for PoE2, it can be added in if absolutely required.
And piano flasks has been one of the most complained about features since the addition of utility flasks. |

zoom playstyle good, leave slow styles for hardcore mode

Bosses were a lot faster when Kripp got a good weapon. I'm sure the game will be fine.

I love everything about POE 2 except, yeah these are pretty big ones, the overall slowness and how much they seem to try to make it into some super difficult and punishing game.
I don't think that belongs in a diablo-style ARPG tbh. It just makes the whole experience super tedious with the constant dodging, constant flask timing etc. While having to juggle 3-4 abilities and setups. It works in Souls games because those games are much more focused and simple. Here it just becomes annoying instead. Ninja. Last edited by la_blue_girl on Jul 29, 2023, 8:55:59 PM

Without reading the commentary, the bullet points you listed really make me worried about the future of the game. I left D4 because it was a slow, clunky, unbalanced and broken mess. If GGG does the same with POE2, I won't be playing it.
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.

" Ya overall the game does not look like it is for me. TO be real for ya. It looks like the game was made for Kripp. A slowed down version of POE. |
