Haven't PoE 2 devteam learned from d4 devs?

Game has few bad leagues.

If you don't PoB in this game or use filterblade, you are not a serious Exile.

Dark Souls and souls-like games are something totally diffrent. Its a game you pick as a challenge, you beat it once to prove you can do it and you are done with it. Pretty much no one plays it more than once. (except some freaks who do challenges etc). It doesnt translate to MMO/ARPG game that you are supposed to play over and over again. Eventually even the best players will get tired and just find game that they can relax with.
i think ppl seem to be missing the point that the ggg showcases are meant to portray the interaction than the general feel of the game. The gameplay of optimized builds will still be a map clear in 1 minute, instead of 15
Builder spender type of gameplay is the one thing that puts me off from PoE2.

Instead of building up resources to do your spenders it looks like you are building up some sort of combo moves to do your "spender" at the end. Then rinse and repeat.

In my head i am picturing some sort of 0 link dual strike to apply some sort of debuff on the mobs into a 0 link cleave that increases the damage to your actual spender and then lastly into a 6 link Earthquake.

I'd agree here. The generator/spender mechanics seen in other ARPGs is the worst thing that ever happened to the genre. And I absolutely see the links between that and the PoE 2 gameplay.

Forcing players into a rotation of X, Y and Z is JUST as repetitive after 20 minutes as just pressing X. Not only that, but it will quickly become a chore. Should they reward builds for utilizing more mechanics? Probably... Arguably. But should they directly limit the ones that don't? No. And I hope we're all done taking their word for anything these days. Only time will show.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Most of the people I know who play dark souls, myself included, replay one of the series nearly yearly.
