Literally has no impact on 99.5% of players especially SC, why SC are going apecrazy over this?
They need an excuse as to why they aren't going to play and "side project" is an easy parrot. Fact is they wouldn't play it no matter where it was done because they know they couldn't win. It being in rhcssf is perfect for them to save face while being part of the cool kids.

Someone will kill the uber pretty fast imo just keep leveling the most op ssf build to 90 and keep trying to kill it till it works. Idt you have to kill the bosses on the same character so you go enough try's at it. Should go down fast by someone who was already going to play rhcssf imo. Now if it was a race to first lvl 100 it would take literally forever but it's not.
Nope. Have to do both bosses with the same character. Dying to kill one over and over won't help if you can't kill the second one with the same character.

You must kill both bosses on a single character. Accumulating kills between characters, or using multiple characters to kill a boss will not count.
This event is hilariously ridiculous. I'm glad some people will find joy in it, but wow.

The latter might give a more interesting result, maybe, but the former is way more fun to watch.
I can't imagine still being interested in week 6 of a slow-as-slugs slog to watch an underpowered and undergeared player finally give in and attempt a 30-minute boss fight just to get the torture to end.
Would you rather watch a weightlifter try to break a world record in which he could fail, or lift the same weight he's done for years now?
Obviously this is just subjective though.

My sports metaphor is that it's like watching a 500 lap race but the race cars have half their good parts ripped out and they're driving through mud. Sure, it'll be mildly interesting to see who wins, if anybody completes it at all, and I might tune in for the final lap, but nobody's gonna care about laps 1 - 499.

I definitely think putting the race in Ruthless only was a mistake - why not run two HCSSF ruthless and nonruthless?

First of all. Getting to lvl 90 is not quick and easy. Also, killing uber exarch/eater with the kind of gear you have at lvl 90 is, if not impossible, very close to impossible. Those uber bosses are hard even on trade league with op gear. I think you are making it sound A LOOOOOOOOOOOOT easier than it actually is. Yeah, if it wasn't HC, maybe you could try over and over, but lvling to 90 over and over is not quick.
People kill ubers in trade league on the 2nd day of the league in mostly ssf gear. I don't think it will take these type of players that much longer to do it in ruthless if they cut every corner possible. Really people are going to be shocked at how fast this event will be won imo.
Are you really comparing SSF HC with Ruthless SSF HC? I don't think you understand the difference. So far, since Ruthless SSF HC became a thing, the highest lvl is 95, everyone has trash gear and nobody killed any uber bosses. I'll be surprised if anyone kills any uber bosses in the span of 3 months, but I'd be happy to see someone do it ofc.

Guess I was wrong about being able to kill it on multiple characters that makes it a bit harder then I thought. I still do think it is fair to compare the first weeks of ssfhc to ruthless the difference in gear isn't that huge at the start of these leagues. People have killed ubers with blue magic gear and the gear is the main thing missing at the start of these leagues. I mean I'm not saying the average player can do it I'm talking about someone who can play 24/7 and is an expert at the game like top 5% of players type player.

I think you mean top 5. Top 5% definitely couldn’t do this. I guess we will see in a few months.

I mean your kind of acting like this event is harder then the last gauntlet it's probably not even 5% of what gauntlet takes. The best players clear gauntlet in under 10 days.
