Improvements to Item Drops
"The classic GGG approach. Can’t wait to see the streamers do a loot comparison of 3.18 -> 3.19 -> 3.19d. It’s probably still going to be abysmal. Path of Exile is about loot. Why can’t we have loot? |

How do we know all the information will be in the patch notes?

Bring back 3.13 with new atlas tree and go work for your stupid poe2 and hard mods, this meme changes u making not fix anything!

Mayb all the drops were appearing in the area you decided to cull out when you broke 32x9 ratio :(

So, you're telling me, you nerf loot by 90%... so now we have 10% of previous loot, and you think buffing it by 25% and 33% respectively to 12.5% and 13.3% is okay?

While these changes are an improvement (although not yet enough of one), this post does nothing to address the betrayal of trust players have felt by having many of these changes never stated in the manifesto or the original patch notes.
This post is curt and abrupt. It doesn't say anything about being sorry or having made a mistake. The "What We're Working On" was oddly tone deaf, and this post almost has a petulant tone to it. In fact, it plays into one of the narratives that all of this was intentional, and silently implemented in the hope they could sneak it by and that people would be okay with it. Now that there is an outcry, a portion of the nerfs are quietly being walked back, but not all of them. There is still complete silence on several of the criticisms, even though there must surely be awareness of them. Continuing to ignore these publicly stated concerns is really not a good look, and it doesn't engender feelings of loyalty. Don't just ignore them, discuss them head on. Even if they are things that aren't going to be changed. Was the state of the game on launch intended or an honest mistake? If a mistake, how could testing not have exposed the problems before launch? And if intended, why was it not communicated before the launch? I've been a huge fan of POE for over 8 years. It's probably the best game I've ever played, and it's been the only game I've played for a while now. I'm used to communication from GGG, and Chris Wilson in particular, being open and honest. I've appreciated the fact that they've always expressed their opinion and been up front about what direction they want the game to go in, while at the same time trying to work with the community when that vision has seemed different from what the players want. I feel like I've been blindsided in the past 5 days. Not just because what was delivered on league launch went against the expectations of the reveal and patch notes, but because of the first absent and then strange nature of communication after the launch. The messaging does not feel like it's coming from the same company I've known for so long. Something isn't right. And it goes beyond simple game mechanics. I want to know what's going through the heads of the people involved. Because right now, I don't feel as if I'm in safe hands going into the future. It's the first time I've felt that way, and it's not a good feeling. |

Thank you GGG.
With you insisting on making the game so tedious, we will need a lot of compensation for that. Another 2 things that would help smooth over the betrayal, is Trade fix, and bringing back Harvest crafts that was removed . "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. " ~ Hunter S Thompson ~
