The changes dont affect casuals, keep your nose out, your opinion does not matter here.

The main thing I'm hoping for above all else is for Archnemesis to be removed/removable (e.g. Atlas blocking, map mod only, etc.) from the game. Yes, other things need attention too, desperately, but this change to the game has just ruined so much and is obviously not working.
They are effectively free roaming metamorphs with pre-set attributes that screw up so much of the game, particularly levelling (when a character is not adequately geared or skilled to manage them), Delve, Blight, Breach and to a lesser degree, almost every other aspect of the game. Time to recognise the sunk cost fallacy and drop the developer ego and take them out till they can be fixed. Honestly, the best fix for them right now is to make them a rollable map mod only. That takes them out of levelling and allows players to avoid them altogether if they want. The various edge lords out there that want the extra challenge can have all my maps with this roll for free. The fact that this thread has hit more than 100 pages in less than 24 hours and is likely to exceed the earlier thread at over 130 pages is sufficient evidence to demonstrate that GGG got things massively wrong on so many fronts all at once. The much vaunted "Vision" requires some serious prescription glasses at this point. I've made an issue of this in the past with GGGs decision making but it bears mentioning again. If the intent is to move to a different style of game execution then the changes need to work in sync with each other. You can't change one balance element for a league with the intent to adjust the complimenting element later on down the track. That just won't work. At the essence of games, they are meant to be fun and for people to derive pleasure from them (be that pleasure of overcoming a challenge, pleasure of losing yourself in a fantasy world, pleasure of distracting from the world's woes). It seems that GGG have lost sight of that. |

GGG will do what they want to do with their game, you guys can ask for them to roll back these absurd changes all you want, but in the end.. Chris knows best, because of his "vision". What we want doesn't matter in the least, it was proven in the last league where there were many requests to get rid of Archnemisis, or even fix headhunter, and none of that happened, instead it was just band aid over band aid, all because of a narcissistic ego.
These changes are here to stay, loot is dead, crafting is dead, mapping is dead, delving is dead, heist is fine... annoying as hell, but fine... In short, my trust and faith in Chris and GGG is at a zero, he'll do what he wants to get to his vison, even if it puts poe in the toilet, and he couldn't care less what the player base wants. I Uninstalled poe in the last league because of the AN fiasco, and I uninstalled it again after a day and a half this league. And with his vision, I really have no interest in POE 2. It's just going to be another shit show. RIP POE! Last edited by CrazyWhiteMonkey on Aug 23, 2022, 9:52:02 PM

" So you expect people to continue to financially support a game that's supposed to be about, has been entirely designed around, and has trained player expectations for, acquiring loot, but now no longer provides profitably rewarding content? And you think they're acting like "spoiled rich kids" by withholding their financial support until profitably rewarding content (ostensibly the whole point of the game) is back in the game? Fairgraves was a slave trafficker specialized in the kidnapping and transport of children. He was not "a good man".

" Basically the ones that get a 1 lucky early drop for 5-10 divines they can have it all.. crafts, gears and more monopoly flowing in currency where the unlucky ones can't even craft lmao Great concept, if you are the lucky one ofcourse. Last 2-3 leagues i was just getting divines 1 exalt for like 100 maps, and now when this shitty exalt is worth less than 10 chaos i got this league already 7 exalts and zero f zero divines. RNG tra.h game. More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience. Last edited by TizeNO on Aug 23, 2022, 10:12:45 PM

Did 20 Tier 10 rare maps today, and not a single alchemy orb dropped. Out of orbs, no way to actually sustain maps.
