Try this (works for me):
* Press Win+R * Type in powercfg.cpl and hit return * Select the High Performance plan * Click Change plan settings for the High Performance plan * Click Change advanced power settings * Open Processor power management * Open Minimum processor state * Change Minimum processor state to 70% * Hit OK button Edit: corrected instructions Last edited by Nightyb#1521 on Feb 8, 2022, 10:05:54 PM

" no luck for me with this fix :( also tried tweaking 'Maximum processor state' to see if that helped, however it did not |

Hey together,
I also have those latency spikes (combined with high CPU load). My CPU: i7-9700K My RAM: 32GB at 3.600Mhz My GPU: RTX 3090 --> The hardware shouldn't be the issue, maybe it's the internet? My internet connection: "50"Mbit/s --> average 46Mbit/s --> could this be the bottleneck? What bandwidth do you need to play PoE without lagspikes nowadays? However: I didn't have this issue the last season. Screenshot of the latency: Turning off Multi-threading helped a bit but didn't solve the issue completely. When I'm back home I'll try providing more detailed information; if anyone has an idea what kind of information might be helpful please lmk, thank you. ::::::::▄▄▄▀▀▀▄▄███▄::::::::::::::

" when it's not updating itself, the game sends just a minor amount of data. you could basically play it with a analog modem :) poe has ever been very reliant on cpu power. but since your computer is up to date it shouldn't be the issue. since you're not "cpu bound" or "gpu bound", the only issue i see is the game compiling shaders for new ingame assets which should vanish once they're generated and cached. offline

" That might be a way into the right direction. I often see the "shader-bar" (the green one) jumping up, although I'm not sure if it's always during the latency spikes. Still, when I'm chilling in my hideout the game shouldn't have to load a lot of new ingame assets at all... It's an absolute mystery to me. Thanks for the reply though! ::::::::▄▄▄▀▀▀▄▄███▄::::::::::::::

disabled 1-3-5-7 CP in the task manager - it works on 3770k,
cost - less threads, less perfomance( also disabled multithreading in the game), steam, vulcan rendering 1650s still freezing a bit but less then before when, when wiLl they add D12?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

is ggg aware of this?
