How do I handle it? Well...

1) I play in softcore

2) I am at the max level I want, so I don't care about dying

3) I am conscious of the fact that whether or not I have Chaos Res capped, I'm gonna randomly die at any second to some one-shot bs and I won't be able to tell exactly what killed me.

4) I have an Amethyst flask and that's enough for me.

If it bothers you, sacrifice some DPS and get some Chaos Res on chest/ring and go with Unrelenting Ascendancy.

I have few questions,


I can see that you use 2 acenstral totem, do you switch them depending on the situation or you actually can summon 2 totems ? If so, how ?

About the rage mechanic, not quite sure that I understood how am I supposed to fill the bar. Sometimes I can see it reaches 26/55 but saw that 1 time only, didn't even know how that happened.

+ I don't really understand the node Percepticon that you get with the Large Ring jewel, middle tree, it's about totems, it says, my attack skills have +1 to summon ballista totems, does this mean, my boneshatter is "granted" summon ballista totem gem ? and if so, what's the level of those ballista totem, maybe I simply misunderstood.

If you could take time to answer me, I'll highly appreciate it, I really love your build so far and still farming to optimize it.

You're welcome!

I explain the use of 2 totems and Panopticon in the main post, please read the guide in full.

Also take the time to read in detail the description/wiki of every gem. I notice quite often people just use skills without even bothering to read what they do, missing out on important details about how a build works.

If you'd have taken the time to read each gem, you maybe would have noticed that Vaal Ancestral Warchief says "+1 to maximum number of summoned totems", and also that both it and Ancestral Protector are giving us considerable boosts to DPS and Attack Speed and those buffs are further boosted through Panopticon.

Rage comes from CWDT + Warlord's Mark. If you aren't gaining Rage, it's most likely because:

1) you leveled CWDT + Warlord's Mark past lvl 2 and 1 respectively and it now costs more mana than you have to cast it

2) you don't have enlighten 4, in which case you need to drop Precision

You need be above 40 mana with all auras active. If you are just close to 40, it may not be enough to cast Warlord's Mark, so aim to be around 80+.

I'd recommend to anyone having issues with mana to try and get a helmet with "Pride has 30% increased mana reservation effeciency" enchant. That helps a lot

Really nice build, I am getting close to having all the gear and gems (still need Marylene's and Watcher's Eye) and DPS and survivability are great.

I had one question though that I didn't see covered in the FAQ. In the gear section you have awakened melee physical damage (but not socketed). I assume you swap that in sometimes, but when? And what gem do you replace (I assume it goes in chest to get linked with boneshatter)?
