A summary of what PoE currently is...

@poliboy, I don't know where you got the logic "about me". What I've been advocating for a while it's something a lot more started to want through the years as the game has aged. Look at the recent queue priority for streamers and how so many within the community denounced that. Players want fairness because in a competition there's no place for cheating or any other type of "privilege". Many PoE streamers became popular over the years solely from pushing the ladder.

@innervation, to learn (educate) yourself is an experience on its own.

To the casual gamer, it is. Look at the guy making the post. No packs, nothing spent but he seems to think he gets a say? He did nothing to support GGG, leeched on a free game then came here to cry like a child.

Why should GGG cater to you when you do nothing for them? Why should ANYONE cater to you when you leech, for free, then COMPLAIN the free content you get isn't what you want? You're not even a paying customer, you're less than one. You're a penniless hobo in the analogy here demanding that a restaurant who feeds you for free change the meals to suit you specifically while the people around you pay for their meal so YOU can eat for free. You seem to forget if no one paid for anything, the game you "allegedly" love wouldn't be here.

Players that already have a dozen supporter packs are hooked and not so likely to quit even after severe changes. That's human nature, the more time and money you invest into something the harder it is to abandon. But us...we're uncommitted, more fickle. And we're the most prospective source of new whales that GGG needs.

Pretty easy to say you're not a whale, as a whale is characterized by excessive spending habits. So trying to talk to me with financial restraint proves you're not the whales you potentially claim to be.

For every player here, who makes these petulant little posts every league without fail, there are tons who don't bother to check here at all, or reddit, or anything. They don't care about your petty opinions on game design or nerfs etc. All they care about is fun.

You kick the door down, play free content, never pay, then demand change? Sorry, but there isn't a reason to support you, cause as quickly as you came, you're fickle, you'll leave just as fast when the content you didn't even pay for isn't the perfect game as everyone demands GGG to be, in different ways, forgetting their narrow mindset is but one of many.
A strong core support group ensure guaranteed revenue.

Whether one already spent money or not is irrelevant for the relevance of feedback. If you think that GGG owes you something for supporting them and is improving the game for you as a reward, you probably haven't realized one thing: this is business. The deal was done the moment you bought the pack and got your pixels. What matters now is the next deal. Listen to you in hopes of milking you more, or listen to a freeloading player in hopes of hooking him. Feedback from both is equally valid.

Then it's simple, you're not a whale the company wants. Odds are you're still not a whale. Since 1% of the populace by at least EAs weird pep talk on them are true whales, it stands to reason you're not. But more to the point. You yet again seem to think your singular self is valuable, you aren't :)

For every person like you is ten faceless nameless people who never even check these forums. Game fun? Buy Packs. All you needy fans aren't the ones any company wants cause of exactly this. You're unpleasable, you just cry constantly. So far you've offered nothing but complaints and what YOU want.

There isn't a reason to focus on you, you're not important :)

Every player is valuable. It's you who keeps claiming that unless they've already spent money on the game, they're not.

Had GGG thought the same way, the game would be put on paid subscription already.

No, actually every player isn't valuable and every player is not equally valuable either. Useless players who spend nothing, do not support the game, then cry are not valuable to any company. You made some good arguments but you're taking it too far.

It's not only about spending and you know it, it's also about popularity, the more players are engaged the more the game is talked about and the more curious new players engage with the game.

And that's good for growth, ofc not all of them will stick or spend money but a small percentage do. And if you don't invest heavily on marketing you rely on this.

And refrain from pretending you know what's in the head of other people, that's just bad
