Map drops need to be increased/changed

No, the Atlas system needs to be explained better.
What is the value of my own life when it is taken from others so easily?
Map sustain is definitely a problem this league. I'm struggling to get up to T13 maps and work my way to T14+ just to get my 17-20th watchstones. Awakening 4, alch and go (only vaal for maps with no completion and chisel only for T14+), 100+ completion. Barely sustaining. I was not having this much difficulty the leagues before.

I'm not necessarily losing more maps than I'm gaining, but my upwards progress is agonizingly slow/nonexistent. Juicing maps shouldn't be a requirement for sustain, but for maximizing profit. And no, selling maps isn't something I consider profit, nor do I consider buying maps to be sustain. The core endgame loop should not be dictated by trade, whether directly through buying maps or indirectly by buying currency to juice them in order to sustain.

On that note, sustain shouldn't also be supplemented by league content outside of the core endgame loop such as Heist, Delve, or Incursion. People who dislike these leagues, otherwise, are screwed.

I'm running out of T14 and above maps. Been buffing my awakening level to A7, buying watchstone, chisel, alc, vaal, fragments, scarab... everything. Sometimes I dont even get a single map back running T16. Like really, really hard if you're trying to self sustain your red maps.
I wonder if the people here have ever played the game before map drops were ludicrously boosted? If you can't sustain a certain tier you run the one below it until you build enough of a library to jump upwards. For tier 14 you run tier 13, collect 10 or more tier 14 and then you run them. If you feel you can't sustain them - back dawn a bit and repeat. Its not even that slow of a process if you are clearing maps in 3 minutes or less. I am not swimming in tier 14+ maps either but this was the situation before Delve and people were still playing en masse.

I personally don't mind it. It is more exciting to see a map drop now.

Yes yes professor, dont you think we're playing the game on 2 different levels? I've been down to T14 in just 1 days now, and you suggest me to go lower? Than what's the point of pushing the Atlas? TO GO LOWER? LMAO! Hey can you spell it?

Yeah, it seems pretty silly to be downgrading your maps when the new core gameplay loop eventually requires you run T14+ maps in order to spawn conquerors.

You'd think it'd be important that T14+ maps can drop commonly enough in order to spawn the bosses and fight them.

Ive looked up how the atlas works and everything after my sustain for even low tier maps hasnt improved, its still bad. My only source for "high tier" maps is literally buying from Zana or getting them off Zana missions.

Even sustaining T5 maps is a pain, why ? Literally 4 years ago map sustain was better, which makes no sense ? How could i sustain my map pool at T10+ (i think max back then was literally t12-13 i dont remember, i stopped just before new acts and atlas i believe).

I shouldnt have to fucking Alch T6 or below maps but you literally have to, its insane. Back then you could roll blue maps up to like T7-8 and get a map drop. Map drops still work the same off rarity/pack size so bloodlines and nemesis with good pack size and rarity are always the go to choice if it rolls. I still run virtually every mod though because its literally not worth chaos re-rolling maps.

Why are they nerfing maps and gating content this way when challenges for the league require a shit ton of mapping ? It literally makes no sense to me. Someone hit level 100 in like 5 days so clearly its not stopping these people from max leveling super fast, after all theyre playing as a group and a completely different game when leveling. They dont trade of pick up their items, someone else does.

Just buy maps if progression is slow. That's what i always did. Every league.

Buy a pack of 10 maps maybe 1-3 times to get self sustain going.
