How many fusing will I need?

Want to try and 6 link my bow for the first six link I’ve ever had! I’ve already burned about 100 and got lucky on the last one to get back to a 5 link lol!
Seriously tho, before I try again whats a good number of fusing to essentially (on an average basis) guarantee a 6 link? Last bumped on Jan 31, 2021, 6:44:38 PM

there is a recipe in delve that can get you a 6 link craft. other than that there is no guarantee. could take over 1000 if you're unlucky

I think with 1200 Fusings used the chance is at about 60%?
This is a whole topic, just use the wiki. Practically you can get lucky and fuse in about a dozen or some hundred fusings, some other people used well over 5000 and the never doesnt get 6linked. It's an RNG-fest, sadly. You can als find the Primeval Ruins in Delve (also an RNG fest) and get the 6l-crafting recipe, which costs 1500 fusings but guarantees 6 links. |

100 fusing is nothing man, some ppl burned well over 3k without 6l. A little tip never try 6l t item u r using at t moment as u can end up with 4l or even less;) I usually get 5l recipe that cost 150 fusion and than I’m saving fusings say up to 500 than I attempt to 6l but if I don’t get it till I drop to 150 than I use craft bench and make it back to 5l and keep farming.. Or u can sell all your fusings and buy t 6l item;)

" Yea my bow is harbouring my secondary skill so if I loose the 5 link it’s not a big deal! I’m stuck with tabula rasa with my main skill in end game! Luckily I’m resist capped, have lots of armour and I have around 4K life at level 77! I’m up to level 4 and 5 maps and so far no issues with Tabula! So I’ll be keeping that chest until I can six link the bow and transfer over my primary into the bow and start work on a proper chest. Is there a diminishing return on linking? The more we do the better the odds get? |

it can take 1(I have had it happen once, on a perfect tinkerskin during incursion, immediately poofed it in temple out of greed)
or it can take 100,000,000,000,000 such is the fate of RNG. you can always sell off fusings to buy fated connections prophecy(use bench to drop below sockets, spam jewelers when it hits 6 sockets they auto link) or bench craft 6 link(recipe is in delve, you can find trusted crafters for this) for 1,500 fusings. |

For reference: I 5 linked my mace in ~ 20 fusing yesterday.
