Patch 3.13.1 - Still Crashing to Desktop

SAME HERE

Can't have the game open for more than 5 min before a crash..
Entire PC just reboots.

Have re-installed, deleted caches, changed settings.. everything.

Praying for a fix soon..

This crashing is unbearable and unplayable, feelsbadman.

Sad that these random CDT are still there after two weeks.

The log files show nothing and pinging the last server instances (with WinMTR) before crashing show that there is NO packet loss.

I also did PackCheck (all files good) and deleted old shader cache files and all files in the bloated minimap directory (myDocuments).

Oh, and i changed realms.

Still constantly crashing after 1-2 minutes of playing. Literally cant play the game.


Guess i will resort to watch others play till its fixed.

It is very unpredictable when crashes happen, tho.

In may case i played for like 2 hours without problems and then suddenly constant crashing. It is not related to one map location or server instance.

It happens everywhere after playing for 1-2 minutes, no matter which location ingame (maps or story mode) or if you stand still or are kiling stuff.

in Options, i put all on default in Graphics and Disabled "Reverb Enabled" in Sound and just one Port crash so far. maybe it helps

Did not helped in my case. Guess the latest patch broke some things.

I have this issue as well. Loosing all 6 portals to desktop crashes without errors while trying to complete a map is getting old.

This issue began only after the latest patch. I'm on steam client btw.

Attempting a full reinstall after uninstalling and deleting all files from both install directory and documents/My Games. I will update if it works.

Add another to the list. Since patch it is unplayable. Have tried everything as well from disabling sound, lowering graphics, updating cards, etc. Still crashing consistently. I maybe crashed twice before 3.13.1.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION!!

Hi guys I've also been having constant crashes and tried a bunch of things from the thread.

The solution that is working for me THUSFAR is I moved my game files to another harddrive.

NOTE: I am playing through steam and moved my files via the steam app to another steam library.

Ever since the latest hotfix I am no longer able to play the game. It worked fine before....

Ryzen 5 1600
Nvidia GTX1080ti
16GB ram

I have done the following:

- Cleared cache.
- Updated GPU driver.
- Verified file Integrity.
- Changed settings to low.
- Disabled sound settings - (Including disabling reverb, sound effects, ambient sounds).
- Changed servers.
- Fresh install.

Again, worked fine before the latest patch, but ever since the update I am no longer able to play without the game crashing to desktop. I get no error messages.


EDIT:

I have gone into my BIOs and disabled "SMT" this seems to have resolved the issue with crashing. I read on another thread there seems to be a conflict with Ryzen CPUs? I have no idea. I have disabled SMT though and the crashing seems to have stopped. I have played solidly for around 2 hours without a single crash!

Worked for me aswell.
Also changed from DirectX to Vulkan.

Even if this would work for me, there is no way I would put PoE in hdd instead of ssd, the load times are terrible on hdd.. I just hope they will find a solution and fix the game.

Ive been noticing that most of the crashes if not all of them are happening only when I enter a map (hideout and towns are okay). A few seconds into a map the game crashes without any error. This happens with almost every map.
