Texture loading on every zone + constant stuttering.
I'm running 16gb RAM, GTX 970, and Intel i7-5820K 3.30ghz, and have 250mb down 6mb up for net. Never had any problems in the past whatsoever running mid-line options. My FPS baseline capped at 60 FPS and will drop to 1 fps every 2-3 seconds.
I have: - Lowered graphics settings and raised them, no noticeable change. - Completely uninstalled/reinstalled PoE - Deleted all local files before doing so. - Removed and clean installed 3 different graphics drivers from timelines I remember the game running correctly in, 2019/2020/Up to date drivers. No noticeable change. - Ran game using DX and Vulcan and the FPS stutter is consistent between them. - Completely removed any MTX to lower the texture load, no change. - Created an exception in Graphics for PoE64.exe and launched directly from the .exe instead of using Steam. No change. My load times are normal, 5-10 seconds at most. When I load in I wait 15 seconds and textures load in (again, nothing new here it's easy to stand still for a second). The problem I have is that once everything baselines and seems to ease up, I move screens and the drops begin at 2-3 second intervals whenever environmental boundaries change or mobs begin spawning. The odd things I've discovered: - Delirium rifts actually make the lag occur less, but lag HARD upon starting them. 5-10s intervals almost playable. - Standing still in an empty hideout and casting spells stationary, no FPS drops. Same situation with a normal hideout setup(map device, crafting table, npcs etc.) and the lag occurs there too. - When FPS lag is occurring, sometimes Discord running in the background others will hear me robotic. Normally I'd believe this to be a network issue, but I've left Task Manager Performance open in the background during these occurrences and there is no noticeable hardware bottleneck. Everything seems to be running at normal levels. Not sure if this will help at all, but I'm at a loss, at this point the only possibility I can conclude is the new texture streaming is screwing up somehow, somewhere. |

Crashes, tile pop-in, blurry textures on Vulkan.
Switching to DX11 prevents crashes and tile pop-in, but textures are still blurry. This is new with 3.13, I don't recall seeing this in 3.12. ▒█▀▀█ █▀▀█ █▀▀ █▀▀ █▀▀ ▒█▀▄▀█ G O O D MTX Seal of Quality

I did everything that was posted but nothing worked for me.
I decided to upgrade my Nvidia driver from version 26.21.14.4141 to 27.21.14.6109 and the texture slicing and stuttering went away. I am on Vulkan setup. |

So memory leak and graphics problems are back :( PoE is ramping up memory usage up to 99% and then starting to stutter, no matter what I do. Textures are loading terribly long every map, especially town just after login. Fps are usually fine, dropping to 50-55 sometimes, until it devour whole RAM. The same situation took place one year ago, then they fixed it and three leagues was fine. I even upgraded my GPU from GTX 750 to 1660S, that really nice boosted performance, but even that now doesn't seem to help with loading graphics. My CPU is pretty old (i5 5th gen), but it worked fine before 3.13. I'm using Vulkan (almost stable 60fps, with DX fps drops to 10 for no reason). Graphics are blurry at start, so many black squares or grey untextured things for couple of seconds :(

same issues, vulkan, rx5600xt, ryzen 5 3600, SSD, 16gb ram

Deleting the contents of '.../Documents/My Games/Path of Exile' helped the issue a bit. There was a noticeable reduction in the time it took the textures to pop in but still there.
I then switched to Vulcan rendering (which I avoid because it has a tendency to crash often) and it seems to improve the texture loading even more. I now get white flashbangs as textures quickly flicker in and it is annoying, but at least the stuttering seems to be gone. This is still in no way the same performance the game had leading up to this expansion and I won't be supporting this game if this continues to be the type of thing we can expect each league. |

I just d/l'd the patch to play for the first time since league launch and have the same issues.
I've never had a problem running Path of Exile before today and now textures are taking a long time to pop in on log in and in new zones, frequent lag spikes, FPS drops etc. i9-9900k 2080 Super Installed on an SSD All drivers up to date None of the proposed solutions in this thread have worked. |

" All of these similar things are happening to me too and I cant even get past A4 Koam now it just crashes every time I zone in. Before it used to be in town only. Tried changing settings etc...Idk what to do anymore. |

Guys i solved the problem.. By deleting the mygames/pathofexile files and redownload the game then switching to vulkan solved my issue completely. No crash ne texture bug now. I hope you solve it too. 2070s 3600x Last edited by Altakor#6243 on Jan 18, 2021, 6:30:06 AM

tried redownloading, deleted the documents/my games folder, switching to vulcan (basically made it worse). nothing helped, neither cpu or gpu are at max load and im playing on ssd too. maybe its something with texture streaming?
