The Easiest of the Easy Beginner Build Guides [1.1 SotV UPDATED]

Hm, I think one very important thing is to get resists up. It makes it a lot easier to withstand groups of casters/ranged attackers.
Next thing is, you can ignore accuracy or crit bonuses, since this build uses resolute techniques, which makes both useless.

Dexterity is absolutely useless, too. It gives you accuracy, which you don't need (see above) and evasion - but this build uses iron reflexes, which converts evasion to armor and disables the +evasion bonus from dex.

Faster Stun recovery can be ignored, because you can't be stunned by using unwavering stance.

Due to that I'd focus on these stats:

+Str
+Life
+Resists
+damage rolls (pref. phys damage)
+attack speed
+life leech

For your Armor aim for high defense/evasion, and if you are going to craft the items yourself, think about which socket-colours it should get (if it allready hasn't the right sockets). You'll have a tough time rolling for ex. a Str. only Helmet with only 1 red but 3 blue sockets. Use hybrid-items in that case. Best case would be, if the base-item allready has the right sockets.

My Rangerlady is now lvl 79 and most maps are quiet easy to do, but I think there's still a lot room to get the killspeed up with better gear.

So I have followed this guide quite strictly and i have just reached level 60 in nemesis. I feel reasonably happy with the character my resistances are capped, hp is 3.3k and i have 2.1k armor. My dps stats are LA 343 dps and Frenzy 1110 dps at 0 frenzy stacks. Any ideas what would be the best upgrade for my character? My ring amulet or quiver are the oldest pieces of gear i have and should i still be looking to stack as much hp as possible?

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems with just potatoes.

One little question about LA gem set up
Just recently found gem Called Lighting Penetration
Wouldn't it be better to put this one into LA 6l set up in place of WED or Faster Atck?

Don't want to spend shitload of chromatic's again just to test it out ;)

If you're already using conductivity or elemental weakness as a curse the value of lighting penetration is rather low.
Quick question, if I have a bow that has only physical damage, does the weapon ele dmg support gem do anything?? Why is it higher priority than say added fire dmg?
Hi guys - i'm following the lightning variant build. I'm right now stuck at the stage where I feel my gear is outdated but I don't know what is the weakest part of my gear so I can devote my limited resources to updating it. Please help!

The best thing you could do for yourself is to buy a 5 link chest and invest in a higher damage bow. I like to avoid relying on my weapon as a 5 link slot since it's the slot you also need to upgrade the most often. For 5-15 chaos you'll probably be able to double your DPS right now.

It's hard to say for sure without knowing your current level but I'd guess that everything but your helmet could probably be upgraded significantly for 1-2 chaos each. Just focus on life/resists on all the armor slots and damage on the quiver and bow. 2-3 good stats per item is a good baseline.

Lightning Arrow inherently converts 50% of phys damage to lightning so weapon ele modifies that as well as any other elemental damage you might have on gear.

If you have a pure high phys damage bow though phys projectile attack damage might be a better choice for you, or even added fire for a budget option.
