The Easiest of the Easy Beginner Build Guides [1.1 SotV UPDATED]

After many requests I've added a non-blood magic respec variant of the Lightning Arrow build to the OP.

It's designed to use the Blood Magic support on pretty much all skills and will run 2x60% auras - I recommend hatred and grace.


Stick with the blood magic spec until endgame and then switch over to auras if you want to test it out.

I specced into BM before the patch. Am I going to have enough refund points to switch over to Heavy Draw and follow the build without needing Regret Orbs, or should I reroll/otherwise adapt?

Using this as my very first playtrough. It's going well but I'm having some trouble with mana, i guess leech is a must?

Been a long time Diablo player. Thinking of adventuring into PoE. Definitely going to give this a shot to ease myself into the game.

What would be a good offer for a min physical dmg + max physical damage/2 = ~160-170

Total dps would probably be around 250-270.

My current gear, as I'm looking to upgrade some stuff in general.

Nope, just get heavy draw later. No reason to drop BM D:

You'll have some mana struggles until you get Blood Magic around Act 3 normal - pretty standard. Just rush for BM as fast as possible and all your woes will disappear.

Why does this build take Resolute Technique and give up its shock stacks until you get Static blow? Especially because you kind of drop it at end game? Is it solely so you don't have to run accuracy gear? I'm a new player following this and my experienced friend said taking resolute technique on a lightning arrow build didn't make sense because you really wanted the shock stacks from lightning arrow

Where can I find the updated skill tree for 1.0.2? I can't seem to find it on the 1st page >.<

Hi I am wondering what requirements are recommended before taking BM in the skill tree. I currently have 900 total life, 7.5 life regen, 2 life on hit and 6 on kill. As well as 3% phys leech. I do not however have very many of the support gems you recommended, especially life leech. Is this going to be a problem? Or am I fine to take BM right now?
