I have to agree with others that your main competition is not Cyberpunk (I have the hardware, but no interest in a dressed up shooter), but rather D3 (with Season 22 just around the corner.) It would be nice if the Macintosh version finally made it in January.

D3 was never a competition, what a joke. Diablo III was the worse of the series by a long shot, no real content updates in many years, pointless seasons that really don't add anything new to the game aside from occasionally adding in new items which to me is not considered content. Diablo 4 is going to be no different, seeing to how Warcraft III: Reforged went I have no hopes for Diablo 4, and no faith that everything we've seen and will see will be in the game on release. What we want to see is the Diablo series going back to its roots, where it's dark, grim, gory and even terrifying but the fact is Activision is at the helm now and that is why the Diablo series will fail AGAIN as Activision only cares about one thing "Money" and what is the best way to make it, well make the game appeal to all audiences, including children hence removing what we loved about Diablo 1&2. The first 2 games were amazing and if you ask me that is because Blizzard was Blizzard back then during the development since Activision didn't own Blizzard at the time.

If D3 had an economy, trading, and decent itemization. It would run laps around PoE

PoE dodged a bullet regarding D3's failure.

Even with those things D3 would be no different, it's an an outdated piece of garbage. Diablo series hardly gets updates and a game that doesn't have frequent content updates is not appealing to the vast majority of gamers.

But the commercial reality is that if we kept our original release date, we would be fucked.

This is technically proper verbiage.
Proper prior planning prevents piss-poor performance!
Thanks for the explanation
You're beautiful. So much better than Blizzard's handling of release dates and holidays. Thank you.
F bomb dropped.

Thanks for these detailed infos. Keep it up.
Damn, you do really care only about streamers that are probably like 5% or less of the playerbase. Make me wonder if you give streamers some advantage in the drop rate of good items to them too.
