0.9.9 Information
It's all going to be wiped when Open Beta hits, so what is the point in not wiping with 0.9.9?
I think everyone starting fresh would make for better testing of the new boss fights and monster AI. |

AoF people just want skill reset (which they will do anyway because they dont deduct skillpoints). I guess technically they could just refund for the amount of notes that you had that were deleted, but Im assuming it will be a skill reset instead.
Personally I dont care if there is a wipe but I dont think they will. If they are trying to avoid a wipe, they obviously dont want to do one (or else they wouldnt avoid it) Its not long till open beta anyway, everyone waiting for a wipe doesnt have to wait long =P. If there is a wipe I can just play in legacy till OB haha, because I dont really have time to recreate at this stage. |

" That doesn't make any sense. The ones who previosuly played an OP build should logically be the ones who have most to lose from a wipe. |
|
" Makes even less sense when you realize that with a big skill change like that, passives reset is a given. |
|
" Exactly, if AoF is still removed from the game at the time of public release they will offer a respec. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."

"I hate you purely because you obviously look down on "casual" gamers as some form of lesser being. Elitism makes me sick. What are you upset the guys who bullied you for being a geek are playing games with you now? IGN - PlutoChthon, Talvathir

" Nice point, but a wrong assumption. I'm not looking down to casuals firstly. The game had always been suitable for them regarding game difficulty from start to finish, obviously. And now things are changing what the way it should be. That statement is done because i wanted to point out my excitement for the true way GGG heading. Hope everything is clear. "This is too good for you, very powerful ! You want - You take"

" We should probably reframe the whole argument knowing this: May 1 D3 closed beta ends, May 15 D3 releases. That's a one-time, final opportunity for GGG. A gifted 2 week window for POE to make it's only impression on a *lot* of ARPG enthusiasts with nothing to do, for 10$ or less. A wipe smack in the middle of that precious 2 weeks might be a bad idea. Is the marketing department listening? Go nuts on May 2+ promoting this game! I feel they are better off waiting til the game is closer to release, give people a few weeks to get D3 out of their system

" For some ppl yeah. But there are others that will be like "hm D3 is down, maybe i'll dick around in that PoE game again". Many will only really do that if they've heard about it before D3 releases. I think TL2 is making the same mistake, all quiet-like and waiting for D3 to simmer down. But in reality, you want to be visible NOW so that when ppl get pissed with D3, they go straight to TL2. Not wait until ppl have forgotten about D3 (and by extension, the "inferior" clones). Keep in mind this is all from the perspective of the average user, not hardcore fans like the ones discussing this on forums.
