I don't feel they failed. It's a buggy and questionably tested league but the mechanic concepts were fine.

We were told about the league mechanics ahead of time and they were explained but players still wanted to play their 8th Necro then try and claim "I can't play Heist" - No the build can't and I personally feel that's their own fault.

I make builds based on the league mechanic because anyone who's played this game long enough knows that mechanic is going to easily take up 50% or more of your game play.

I still remember when this game had 3 Acts and just smile when players act like POE has always been a speed run. If we tried the crap we do now back then... Just Dead.


I guess when I say they failed I am referring to the comment made that I quoted about being unable to preserve the league identity and immersion by making it, again, mainly about ARPG loot and everything else that's more RPG oriented watered down even further. You're talking about some specific players complaining about their favorite build, I guess. To your point which is in response to a different argument, yeah I would agree you have to be mindful of the league mechanic when considering what build to play.

Hey guys, not having any sort of alert coming from enemy kinda makes Heist a little boring, just like a lot simulator that you run at the end.

Have alert levels when enemies spot you, seems a good aprouch to the heist mechanic.

Fixed a bug where some Grand Heists could not be completed.


If you have this fixed, it needs to be deployed right now... Because of this bug, noone is playing the league content.

Just prepared and fully unveiled a grand heist just to not get any entries spawned in the heist location....
I know this isn't truly constructive, but you really need to look at how league content was pushed out with the main objective of the main mechanic bugged in such a way that makes it impossible to play and complete.

People such as myself might spend a few hours getting the markers for a map to get it right and then have all three wings bug out because one of the heist members don't want to work correctly.

This is pretty unacceptable. The word embarrassing comes to mind.

This league more so then others feels like it was rushed, or too large for the current release structure.

Maybe it's time to reduce it to 3 leagues a year.

Stop enemies from bunching up in doorways during heist please, they wont' budge unless you go through and then they all blast you at once it's a bit ridiculous.

I would go further: As long as this is not fixed Grand Heists should be deactivated to prevent players losing blueprints and large amounts of markers.

You will now be placed slightly further away from the portal when entering a Heist.
Attempting to leave a Heist area before entering a Heist Wing will now request confirmation.
