Today's Hotfix for Heist

Ever since the end of Delirium, leagues and league mechanics have dived down. Wasnt very fond of Harvest league, thought it was the worlds most shit tier league, and now Heist which is another form of shit tier.
Still broken, still unplayable. 5 days and f-ing counting...

How about you actually STOP PROMISING CONTENT IF YOU ARE NOT SURE YOU CAN DELIVER?!

I hate being negative about this, but this release sucks big time. There's nothing good in it that we enjoyed except the fun bugs some people were able to exploit, which are, arguably, not good.

This is the first release that I stopped playing a league. I'll return probably, but I will no longer pour a single dime for empty promises.

You can still dupe contracts. Today.
The game still crashes sometimes when you try to exit heists. Today.
Grand heists still bugged beyond belief. Today.
Crafting bench still bugged. Today.
Alert still makes 0 sense. Today.
Several replica uniques still broken and made either unusable or beyond OP. Today.
Several skills still crash the game. Today.

How long until GGG says an empty "today" again? Today?

All jokes aside I knew this would be changed the minute I saw it. I'm not a game tester, and i'm not a developer, but I knew this was going to be a glaring issue for about 99% of the builds in the game. That's just the issue with choke-points, not even including issues with massive amounts of spontaneous damage or guard NPC spells that phase through walls and doors.


Actually I liked that. It rewards you if you get out fast, which fits the theme. Also there is a sense of danger. There are several ways around it: Dash over the barrage, use a totem as bait, use one of the new area control spells or just hurry up escaping. The early heists I took my time escaping since I got Gear for followers so I wanted more and stayed forever, leaving me often with nothing at the end.

A bit more rogue equipment would already make it easier to loot more, escape faster and be stronger in combat.

The guard alert is something different: If I kill it and everyone seeing me doing that, it should not rise. But when a patrol find a pile of corpses, it should raise the alert. But that would be pretty difficult to implement.

The heist idea overall is awesome. The implementation is a bit shallow. With only a few month development there is only so much you can do. But an implentation where you can take two paths: Sneaky like in Metal Gear 1 without triggering the alarm at all or just lay waste to the whole facility and try your luck escaping.
