Trying to fracture T1 %phys. Already spend 8 tries, and every time it fractures wrong prefixes... so unlucky.
How many tries did you spend until lucky fracture?

I had pretty bad luck too, I fractured weapon 8 times until getting the t1 phys done.

What would be the steps for crafting the end-game gloves with Culling Strike/Frenzy? Thanks, would really appreciate it

Since Harvest isn't going to core, I'm just going to reply here. Use awakener's orb to get culling strike + frenzy. Then use Harvest to get life, phys, attack speed.

I'm looking at the gems in the min-maxed gear section and notice they have not been fully optimised. Are these the gems you are using?

My gem suggestions:

Body Armour
Superior Tectonic Slam 21/23
Superior First of War 21/23 as anomalous is too slow unless you have a LOT of attack speed
Divergent Pulverise a bit slower but a lot more damage
Awakened ED 6/20
Awakened MPD 6/20
Superior Fortify 21/23 as I think the anomalous effect is rounded down to zero

Staff
Superior Enlighten 4
Superior Anger 21/* The 1% movement speed from divergent is not worth it unless you can get a 21
Superior Herald of Purity 21/23 the other effects are too minor
Superior Blood and Sand 7/* regular, the others are worthless for us
Divergent Skitterbots 20/20 10% increase of shock and chill is very nice
Divergent Seismic Cry for knockback

Second Wind
Superior Second Wind 21/20 as Q23 gets rounded down
Anomalous Flame Dash */20 for extra distance
Phantasmal Intimidating Cry for an extra bit of damage
Superior Enduring Cry 21/23

CWDT
Superior Immortal Call */23 for increased duration
Anomalous Cast when Damage Taken */23 for more increased duration
Superior Increased Duration 21/23 for even more increased duration
Anomalous Wave of Conviction for increased AOE

Miscellaneous
Anomalous Stone Golem +22 life regen (not much but it helps)
Superior Vaal Ancestral Warchief 21/23
Anomalous Phase Run for increased distance
Anomalous Combustion, for a bit more skill damage and a bit less ignite damage

Note that wherever Anomalous/Divergent/Phantasmal Q23 and lvl 21 is usually better, but these are far from easy to obtain

I welcome any improvements

Can we make something like this part of the main post? Or am I blind and it is already in the guide?

The skills themselves are in the skill section

The levels and quality are in the corresponding POB. Also, if you have paid attention to my reply to that post, some of those skills are unnecessary.

Great guide. Any recommendations on some specific 2 handed weapons I should use while leveling? Ive been having trouble with damage, died like million times in the harvest.

During leveling, you can use unique 2H axe, maul, sword. Basically look for a weapon with high physical damage.

For specific weapon, you can go to poe wiki and choose one according to your level.

Hi!

I just wanted to say thank you very much for the guide! I've been enjoying my TS Chieftain very much though using all five flasks at once along with the cry setups is taking a bit of a while to get used to. So is not having any life flask.

I was just wondering though if this build can be applied to an Inquisitor. I've been thinking about this one ever since I saw your build since I really wanted to make a slam build work with a Templar class and your build is heavy on the Templar side of the tree especially the mid game budget build and beyond. Maybe get Avatar of Fire to 100% convert physical to fire.
Anyone changing this build up for 100% delirium? I have a hh and can clear decently but I wonder if there is a more efficient way rather than rerolling characters.i tried fire bv but that was an epic fail
Quick question - will this build be viable with decent investment, considering nerfed harvest crafting in the next league?
I am already looking forward to a fun "melee" build, but I am worried the currency investment would be too high without the current, juicy harvest.
Jenno, seeing the latest video i notice how you Phase run before the slam and, unless i'm wrong, that way you won't use the damage buff since the 2nd Buff's duration is only 0.2s while your attack time is 0.71s on your minmaxed POB, and the problem here is that the slam counts as an attack from the start of the animation rather than at the end of it.

It's near impossible to get less than 0.2 slam time and even if you get alternate qual + alternate inc. duration you can only reach about 0.4s duration on the secondary buff.

But here's the good news : The damage increase of Phase Run is present in both the secondary buff AND the first one according to the wiki https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Phase_Run and it also can be easily tested in hideout.

So since the attack counts at the start you can just use flasks and other buffs > Slam then instantly cast Phase Run, this way the first buff activates mid slam animation, doesn't get consumed therefore still lets you profit from the full damage increase.
