tl:dr - the extremely smooth launch (from a technical perspective - next to no crashes) has meant that bot cheats have been more effective than usual. This is despite Harvest's mechanics (in my opinion) reducing the utility of exalts.
Bot cheaters disgorge enormous amounts of chaos orbs into the economy, devaluing the chaos orbs earned through legitimate play by other players.
Bot cheats and 'pay to cheat' websites that sell currency are getting worse and I've got a couple suggestions to fight them:
- Constrain spammers by restricting the ability to change your chat channel
- Have GGG messages saying 'cheating by buying in-game orbs for real money is strictly forbidden and will get your account banned'
- Consider whether the chaos orb recipe is now doing more harm to legitimate players than good. I suggest changing it to provide alchemy orbs instead for levels 60 to (some new threshold), then chaos orbs up to level 83, then regals at 84+.

Superficial. Watch the video. He shows the first week prices in other leagues - it's never this high this early. And the Harvest system actually reduces their utility, so there's no known reason why this price spike should've occured.

Lack of drops + typical mass botting RMT. Even though bots print chaos, they still require people to find exalts to trade for them. And people arent finding them; but they are buying from RMT sites. So, you got a massive lack of supply, with bots that dont care what they pay for them.
Other leagues had more rewarding mechanics. Meaning, more exalts in supply. More players, too. This league has lower players, no drops, same chaos spamming bots. Its no surprise exalts are this expensive.
