I play in Tencent realm when I’m in China. Here’s some more:

Before every league you can buy a season pass which contains daily/weekly/one time quests like “Complete the story mode”, “Complete 10 chaos recipe”, “kill A8 Sirus”. The more quest you complete the better the rewards, which include things like mtx, points, loot pet(10 days).

RMT is blatant and rampant, especially in SC temp leagues and standard. Players tend to sell their expensive items in cash. They post their own ads ending with real money price and their contact in global/trade chat. The mods don’t care.

As for the bound-to-account system, once you completed enough quests and challenges, drops in your account will no longer be bound to account, though quest rewards remains bounded to account. This system was intended to fight bots, while it certainly worked, it hasn’t been efficient at eradicating them.

If you always play challenge leagues, you have to pay every league for new auction tabs. You don’t get to list items for sale in premium tabs. The trade site only shows active items(refreshed within 24 hours) on the auction house. One auction tab is half the size of a regular tab. The better AH tab that supports instant buyout and offline selling costs 7 USD. The basic AH tab costs 2.8 USD.

There’s been many events recently, but only this private 10 day werewolf race contains cash prizes. The official Tencent events are often poorly organized, give lackluster rewards and attracts very few players.

If anything is missing, feel free to point it out (preferably with a link or some other evidence) and I'll add it to the opening post. Let's let the arguments revolve around how we feel about each of the differences rather than what all of them are, k?
The only thing that I would be really interested in is the ability to plan a path in the passive tree when I start a build, instead of having to use another third-party program.

The "tower challenge" would be nice for SSF players too.

All the rest sounds like a deviance towards a game that favors paying players.
GGG really are a joke
Honnestly, there is a lot of QOL i want on POE. But not much from the China way, which seems p2w big times.

- A button to vendor everything in a stash will be one amazing QOL.
- Another one which put your loot automatically between your different kinds of tabs: fragments went to frags, currency to currency, etc. I will pay for that button.
- The pathway thingy seems neat.
- way to search for blighted map on the map stash.
- A built-in-game trade. Don't care about the way they do it (AH, Whispering automation...)

Inventory management is the worst part of this game. Really. It takes forever. And it will only get worst, because they have to find things to add, to sell more tabs. It's not because they are angry money-eater monsters, but because they need some rentability. So they will always be more fragments, more shards, etc...

They are only two ways to solve that trouble: make the player have to buy new tabs each league (but they will have to change the price to a cheaper one), like a form of "season pass" or whatnot. Like that, they don't have to add fragment and currency to adds news tabs.

Or put something to make sorting the things easily. Like a big button.
Seeing those details, keep that shit out of my PoE.

Yeah I was surprised about all the nice stuff the chinese client has, its crazy.

I would love most of these. Also knowing its probably them that develop those featureand not another studio...

Big disapointement with GGG not because we dont have them but because of their stance on them giving us the expression this would never happen.

but what you need to be asking your self is if GGG added all this stuff and removed all the p2w and added it for free do you think it would make the better, they can add all this and just remove the payment side of it

the Pay to win element isnt even that bad either... I doubt it would even change much thing in the game anyway.
if you asked me if i wanted all of that or none of it i'd choose none of it, but there are definitely some things that would make good additions to the game.
