Rare map,full sextant,awakener level:6, simulacrum splinter drop..1! :(



Even with temporal chains i can still move fast with my berserker. Killed a lot of mobs and stepped on delirium stuff. 1 splinter is kinda BS really.

If the map was truly brutal to complete that number would be higher.

Random loot means random loot. PoE should have been called “Unrealistic Expectations”.
Then what's the point in "juicing" the map if a regular map would drop the same number of splinters? What's the point of killing or stepping on delirium stuff when only 1 splinter will drop. This is not the only map i ran. There should be a minimum number of splinter drops depending on map rarity,then raising quality and quantity on map is just a bonus.

@OP I know how you feel, I've full cleared t14 strand with 100% quant and only gotten 10 usually, and I barely cleared a red tier cage and gotten 40. There's no real consistency to splinter drops beyond hoping currency is the first reward type. All of my greater than 10 drops have come from having that as first type.

Yeah,it's just frustrating at times.

I suspect splinters don't obey normal iiq rules. Until recently the most splinters I'd seen in a map was from a white corrupted lair - over 80 splinters for a full clear. (This was surpassed when i got a tropical island with 2 breaches in the final section, over 100 splinters)

It really seems splinters are more a function of how deep in the fog you you are X kills.

Wow,the most i've seen dropped i think was 17. I'm having problems with rubber banding too much with dash and second wind when i rushed to the boss. Anyways, i think you have a point with how deep you get into the fog. Thanks.

Dudes you need to go check out emperyians videos, he was dropping 150+ per map. Maybe that will give you some idea where you're maybe missing something.
