0.10.4b and 0.10.5 Patch Details

<3 for the costant updates. U guys can take 1 month break for my concern :)
No Fun Allowed
“Seek not greater wealth, but simpler pleasure; not higher fortune, but deeper felicity.”
"Strength/Dexterity Support Gem - Multistrike: Causes you to attack quickly three times with a melee attack. New targets are selected for subsequent attacks if available." - Windfury weapon analogue? If so, I am happy.
Charge on hit looks like a FP/Ele Bow buff.
The melee splash will definitely spawn new builds though.

Hope Power Siphon gets some kind of a buff too now that their power charge monopoly is broken.
Offers may not be honored 24 hours after posting them.
Thank you for the update Chris; no worries on delaying the skills patch - I'm here for the long haul so a week or two doesn't matter a bit. Your update schedule is amazing, and something of this size and scope is bound to take time. You're building something very special here; a few days are no big deal. Get it as right as you can, then send it to us so we can break it for you ;-).

Enjoy your time in San Fran and keep up the great work.

Thanks for the update Chris and good luck in the city formerly known as the city of the hippies!

On gems: Would it be possible to further spell out the type of gem? I mean there is a system in a certain developers head for what supports work with what gems, but I would love to have a more explicit explaination of what combinations are meant to work. Like:

cleave
type: melee area of effect
required gear: axes or swords
Damage type: physical damage
Attack type: normal attack
Other info: none

Bear trap
type: single target trap
required gear: none
Damage type: physical damage
Attack type: trap
Other info: none

Molten Shell
type: single person defence
required gear: none
Damage type: fire damage
Attack type: threshold damage taken
Other info: Adds armour rating

And similar for support. Make it at the first post in the forum for the skills to make it useful. What is needed ingame is always only part of the total information!
I appear to be living in "Romance Standard Time". That has to be good! :)

Won't this make AoE melee skills like Cleave kind of useless?

I mean, considering you can just put on the splash gem on Heavy strike or Double strike and have something similar.

exactly what I'm thinking

Cleave doesn't use a support slot ;) Also we don't know damage and mana modifiers... So the old aoe melee skills still have their place
Proud 5th duelist in the Jul 1 2012 Ladder Race and in the Nov 3 2012 Solo Turbo Race :D
And even prouder 4th Templar in the Nov 10 Four-hour Party Hardcore Race :P
Current OB success:

i'm just thinking... Karui Maul + Melee Splash + Multistrike + Heavy Strike .. what do you think guys??? Karui Maul has this "Gems in this Item are Supported by Level 15 Increased Area of Effect".. do you think it will improve the splash effect of heavy strike + melee splash ??? still new to the game... doesn't really know the mechanics ^^,

We don't know if it's a constant damage or a transfering effect.

I don't think that the Single Target skill gets AoE added as property.
I still don't see taking Power Charges support gem worth on spell builds.

It's a 1 support gem trade off to gain what? 3-5 charges for 150%-250% crit?

for most spell builds it means just +9%-15% crit chance.

For the great majority of players will just be 9%-12% bonus (they probably invested
in other passives on tree and in other rewards at Bandits (which are permanent).

Still if i wanted + crit chance i'd have used "increased critical chance" support gem,
and i didn't use it as it was a too big trade off.

Maybe for a new char, or for a BIG respec it would be worth to spend less points
on crit chance and use those points on something else...

That's actually exactly the purpose of keywords. Using the keywords below the name of the skill in the gem tooltip, you can get a very good idea of what it does. The fact that that;s what the keywords are for should be better communicated, though.
Also i wonder what will be the point of sporting an increased crit chance (with max 105% non quality added crit chance) gem when you can use this new gem and get +150% with the base 3 charges.....
