" Agree with your post, in my opinion they should have left it the way it was. Swallowed their pride and let people have fun with gamebreaking builds. Finally there were a build, where the casual player could achieve what the "1%"ers achieves every league. We finally felt like we could brake the game ourself and for me that was fun. I enjoyed every second of being overpowered and would have accepted that it would go away next league with fixes and nerfs. But when it got wrecked i'd rather not play at all even tho i feel like im not done with the league. So what that we for one league could be stronger than ever? The most of us, would probably still get tired of that build and do a second or third character anyway. Just to get some variety. Sadly apart from everything now, checking "gggtracker" website shows ZERO ggg activity concerning the nerf. Which is more worrysome for me than anything else. This one post from Bex saying they are sorry for their mistake, and then just complete radio silence. Are they now in hiding and just silent only to control the damage they have done? FYI I absolutely love path of exile and that GGG usually responds and does the right thing. But this time they did me wrong. | |
" You're fuckin clueless dude. My other character is a melee Cycloner and I downed Sirus 8 the first week, and this was my first league in 3 leagues, so I had limited time tries to learn the fight. If I want to play that game, I can, I worked hard to get to that level, and to farm the currency I did. I dumped it all into a Herald stacking Elementalist. It wasn't great at first, and definitely takes the right gear and a lot of investment to get it to do high tier content. When it does get rolling in maps it is a lot of fun, but I've had Headhunters on multiple bow characters in the past, and really I don't find the difference to be that much. You still have to stop to pick up loot, and really, there is always something that is OP as fuck compared to other things. There is always OP shit in this game, when I first started playing PoE and saw people doing Vaal Spark and Vaal Fireball, I thought that was fucking cool and looked fun, but I knew that I had a ways to go to be able to farm the currency needed to really make it work. That didn't mean I went and fucking bitched about it or wanted it nerfed. Who cares! Its just outright disrespectful to people who put time into this and were misled. When GGG makes excuses for them not catching this sooner, or blaming the working at home stuff, then that is ALL THE MORE REASON TO LEAVE IT BE. It is a PvE game for fucks sakes, there are all these people who can't even play, the performance issues are abysmal, and then they pull this shit. I mean, comon.... |

Its ok altho i have to admit i was furious at the time of this announcement since i decided to go all in on the build when i heard it wouldnt be touched :P about 200 exalts got invested into it and i made about 50 ex selling all of it later xD

How come people continue to complain about "having wasted currency" in this topic? The PH build is still just as strong, you can still chill in Sirus' death storms and trivialize the entire game.
