Changes to the Purposeful Harbinger Notable Passive
" There was no breaking the rules of the game. Some buffs were scripted as auras. The players used the game mechanics. The developers did not predict the situation and show players the middle finger. Laugh at your will. No one cares. |

" you are level 85 with pretty bad gear. You will be fine on any other build if you actually start playing the game |

" In my opinion, GGG itself did not expect this building to be as strong as it became. They had to react because the players took advantage of their unintentional error. People understand that this build was based on broken mechanics - that made it so good... |

" What's so funny? You realize these changes will only affect item aura dependant variations of the build right? Solstice/Black/Sporeguard. Nebulis will still output the same amount of damage, those without solstice/hh are virtually untouched other than a slight nerf to their action speed from tailwind. Same damage, same tankiness, maybe slightly less ES. My problem however is that I was going to sell the items off after their price hike to try other stuff out. Instead I'm pretty much stuck playing this build until people figure out that a version without the nerfed Solstice still exists :^) Last edited by X3n_#5275 on Mar 31, 2020, 5:05:19 AM

Pretty big fail.
Im pretty much done with this league now, I had been buying up all the gear for this new build to try it out, but meh, just a waste of time now. Please dont wait 17 days into a league before you nerf a build that people have spent time gearing up for and playing. Even if the build is broken or not, its pretty sloppy on your part GGG. Me and my mtx money will go to a different game for the next few months, till the next league comes out. Peace |

" And this is exactly why they'll continue making the same mistakes. You continue to give them the benefit of the doubt league after league. They don't care if you stop playing two weeks in, they've already got your money :)
" ? It never was a bug, it's a stat oversight. Just because muh big numbers doesn't mean it's a bug, bud.
" Classic comment from an absolute noob who can't get past act 5 XD Hey nice build bro :)
played this game for 1500 hours - about 10 builds with 9 medium builds (never got to end game - to kill sirius and shaper etc) and one op build (this one got instantlly nerfed) where i could get to see the end game content.
when broken combinations of skills are required for builds in order to get to end game content or to farm for currency or items (see headhunter - item that is totally op and broken and everyone strives for it) you know a game is unballanced and it does not imply gaining skill. there is a problem with overpowered builds that allow people to make any content fast and to easy break the market (see what the streamer empyrian gaming is doing with the headhunter prices at the end of the age, where he lowers the prices of that item, while having a s.hit tone of currency) so there is a need for ballance, but where do you draw the line? lets assume that you have 1000 builds and from that 1000 builds 2 of them are capable of doing end game content like kill sirius and do the uber elder etc. the rest of 998 will not be able to kill the end content by any means, thus making a large portion of players to tend to play those 2 builds because they want to get the high rewards and have fun at the end game. and the end of that particular age ggg nerfes those 2 builds because of their ability to end the game. this happend when winter orb was op, when strenght stacking was op, spectres are still op, every age there was a flood of a certain build that made the game fun but the people who did not play the op builds complained because their friends where able to finnish the game and they could not and the ones playing the op build had to say good bye because the devs nerfed it. so bassically noone is having fun in a non skilled based game. skill should not be about finding the broken pieces in a game in order to finish it - and when you do find them they will get nerfed. this is like playing chess against the chessmaster. whatever you do you will lose. this is not a skill game. |
